I'm just going to start off with , yes. I gave this a 5 out of 5. This thing does what I needed it to do, right out of the box. I opened the box and the antenna was right there with the USB a attachment so it will be able to pick up the wifi channels, as well. Not only that , but this what real and most glorious reason I gave this antenna a 5 star, there's an actual power brick inside the box. If you're actively searching a website for a piece of tech( which you are actively doing, right now.) you know how so ery rare is for a piece pf tech that requires power from a USB type A power-source, to actually come with a power brick inside the box. Alright. Now that that's out of the way. The antenna also comes with a makeshift stand that you can use on your table or TV stand. I chose violence, by way of a couple of thumb tacks in my sheet rock. And that seems to work out just fine. That's all you get from the box, not counting the instruction and owner's manual, but you get that with everthing. It is, however, very easy to program once it's properly installed. I talked that trash about the power brick and never even used it, because my TV has an available USB A port right next to the antenna port, as you can see from the photos. I got over a hundred channels in just enough time for the afternoon football games. I'm not a cable user, so this is a must-have for me and a lot of my friends. And true story, I have another branded antenna on my front room TV and it doesn't wwork nearly as good. So, yes. Grab a couple of these bad bays and put em in your cart. You'll be back to thank me later.

Big Time Upgrade For My TV!!!

I stream everything and cut the cable cord many years ago, without a single regret…well maybe just a teeny tiny one...local channels. I live near the outskirts of my city and every once in a while I will grab the local news at 5 to just see what going on locally. I settled for just a plain old pair of rabbit ears that kind of tucked away behind the tv. They were minimal at best. I had to do the old move the TV a little every now and then to get it just right. It was irritating but for as little as I watched TV…it sufficed.
THEN, I saw the Insignia Amplified Ultra-Thin Indoor HDTV Antenna - 60 Mile Range. On a whim, I grabbed it. I was not sure what to expect but it could not be worse than the old rabbit ears.
The thing that really got me intrigued was the aesthetics of it. I hated the way the rabbit ears looked hanging off my modern flat TV! The Insignia has a white side and a black side that you can have displayed. My tv has a mantle mount pull down so you can see the background so the antenna aesthetics kind of matter to me and the Insignia looks ok. It’s not really noticeable which is the main goal for me and when I raise my tv up you can't even see it…and here's the cool part…Even raised with the tv blocking it, it still gets all my channels!!! Set up was easy but you do have to plug it in for the amplification (see pics).
To be frank, the main thing that really matters is does it work?? The answer: IT DOES!! Well above what I expected. The picture is super crystal clear compared to my rabbit ears. It is amplified which means it really grabs the signal and amplifies it and produces a beautiful picture!! My main TV station is 25 miles away fyi. I even got additional channels I didn’t even know were available. BONUS!
What can you really say about an antenna right? Quite a bit with this little guy. Great picture, blends into the background, is lightweight and really grabs the signal out of the air at a tremendous value! If you need an antenna, you can’t go wrong with this one. Big time upgrade for my TV!

The First Antenna That Works in my Area

This is the first antenna I've purchased that will receive signal in my area. I'm about 30 miles away from a metro area. Typically antennas do not work in my area but this one did. Easy to install and works great!

Outstanding reception and straightforward setup

A 60-mile range ensures reliable reception and a quality signal in most locations. The advanced amplified design enhances performance while reducing noise and interference for a clear picture. Compatibility with VHF and UHF allows for the reception of a wide variety of channels, even distant or weak signals. The antenna is suitable for 4K HDTVs and supports all current ATSC 3.0 broadcasts. The antenna's design, which can be wall-mounted or free-standing with a tabletop base, offers versatile placement options. However, this flexibility leads to a significant drawback: the antenna's effectiveness in picking up channels and maintaining quality depends greatly on its location. Finding the right spot can be challenging and may result in an unsightly setup due to visible cords and suboptimal placement within the home. Fortunately, the product includes a 10 ft. (3 m) coaxial cable that is easy to route, aiding in its flexible positioning. Its ultra-thin design and dual-color scheme are meant to integrate discreetly into home decor. Despite these positives, the cumbersome nature of achieving optimal reception leaves room for improvement in accessing broadcast channels. The product is not without flaws, yet it fulfills its intended purpose.

I'm Impressed

I've used a few of these flat, boxy antennas over the years and I've always been disappointed. I've placed them behind TV's, in windows, up by the ceiling, etc. I've never been able to get more than a few channels in a stable way. I'd usually get 2 or 3 major networks and several local-public-foreign language stations. Maybe 12 stations at most, with half being barely watchable. I am about 15 minutes from NYC. I expected better from them...
This antenna is different. When I searched for stations, 58 stations were found. I was surprised. Still, I expected many of them to be unwatchable. As I flipped through the channels, every single one of them had a solid digital picture. The big difference with this antenna is that it has a powered signal amplifier and it works.
In the box is the antenna, the amplifier, a USB power adaptor and a wall mount. Set up is extremely easy. (1) Plug the power adaptor into an outlet, (2) Plug the USB end of the amplifier power cable into the power adaptor, (3) Screw the co-ax end of the amplifier power cable into the amplifier, (4) Screw the coax end of the amplifier into the TV's coax port, (5) position the antenna where you would like it to be, (6) Scan for stations on your TV. That's pretty much it. 15 minutes after opening the box, I was watching TV.
The big network channels came in full HD. I get CBS, NBC, ABC, Fox and My9 all in HD. There is only one local major network that I don't get, WPIX 11/CW which is a station that often has local sports so it will be missed. Other networks include Cozi TV, MeTV, shopping networks, Fox Weather, and a bunch of others.
All in all, call me very impressed. This antenna works great!

Easy Setup and Clear Reception for Local Channels

I was surprised by how well this Insignia indoor antenna works! It pulled in a lot more channels than I expected. The setup was super simple, and the flat design makes it easy to tuck behind the TV or mount on the wall without it being noticeable. The amplified signal really helps with picture quality; I get clear HD channels with very little interference. It’s lightweight, affordable, and a great way to cut back on cable costs while still getting reliable local channels.

I bought this OTA antenna to receive local broadcasts having cancelled my cable TV subscription. Setup was easy; attach the coax cable to your TV's antenna input and USB-A connector to a power source for the amplifier. I used the optional stand to place the antenna in a window. Like many OTA digital antennas, placement of the antenna is key; moving it just an inch or so can mean the difference between reception or no reception. My TV was able to find 47 stations, some of them over 50 miles away. For the price and its performance, I am very happy with this antenna.

Works well, easy to install but it is very directional. You need to be able to point it as close to your towers and THEN reprogram your television

Antenna works perfectly for me. I live in a suburb of Seattle, well within the range of the broadcast towers. I've got this mounted inside my living room next to my television. The clarity of the HDTV signals puts my streaming experience to shame. The white blends in nicely with my walls.

This antenna works great for an indoor antenna. Sometimes you need the good old rabbit ears to catch a NFL game. Very good reception here in the burbs.

Bought this for my back bedroom for my analog tv. It says to try and get the antenna close to an outside window but that wasn’t a option for me. I plugged into my tv and I can pick up lots of channels. If a channel isn’t coming in real good it just takes a slight turn of antenna to get it better very easy to use

I live in a slightly rural area that is some distance from the broadcast stations. The hookup is easy. It was challenging to get and keep a consistent signal even with moving the antenna around. I used the antenna in another location that was closer to the broadcast stations and was able to pick up a number of channels. If you are reasonably close to the broadcast locations this is a good option

This is a good value to getting the signal I was able to get access to. It did require "skilled fine tune adjusting" and on bad weather days the signal may come in an d out, but probably not the antenna's fault. Overall Positive purchase for getting access to channels you can reach and the value. You have to look at the online OTA guides where you enter your address to check the signals.

So I wanted to watch the World Series. It's on regular broadcast Fox, but I've only got streaming services, and Fox wants some insane amount of money to stream it. Enter this antenna.
It's been years since I watched anything broadcast, and I got a beautiful and perfect HD picture for the games. I haven't much tried to see what range I get, but the channels I received just out of the box were up to 35 miles away. Maybe I can do better than the 60 miles they promise?

This antenna worked okay. When placed right by a window, we are able to pick up the local, network channels, plus a few others, and picture is clear without being fuzzy or spotty. However, when the antenna is moved just a couple feet away and not directly in front of the window, the reception is bad, some of the channels no longer work, and the ones that do have frequent interference. There are better products available for the same price or less.
