Very disappointed with its quality on my new iphone 16 pro max. Not sensitive, it expects more pressure than without a screen protector

I recently got the Insignia 3-Pack Screen Protector for my iPhone 16 Pro Max, and I am thoroughly impressed with the quality and protection it offers! This set comes with three tempered glass screen protectors, which is fantastic for keeping my device safe from scratches and damage. The installation process was incredibly straightforward. Each screen protector came with all the necessary tools—cleaning wipes, dust stickers, and a guide to help position the protector perfectly. Within minutes, I had the protector applied without any bubbles or misalignment. I appreciate how the protectors are case-friendly, meaning they fit well with my phone case without lifting at the edges. In terms of clarity and responsiveness, the screen protectors do not disappoint. The HD transparency ensures that my display remains vibrant and crystal clear, and I haven't noticed any loss in touch sensitivity. Everything feels as smooth as it did without the protector, making it a joy to use my phone as usual. It provides an extra layer of protection against scratches and impacts. A few tips for install. Do your work in a clean room free of extra dust or pet hair. Make sure the screen is clear of dust, grease, hair, etc. by using the included wet wipes, then give it a good wipe with the cleaning cloth. Use the dust removal stickers to pick up any little bits that may float onto the screen. Once the screen is ready, be quick getting the protector in place so dust doesn't get a chance to float in. When you place the protector down, apply pressure to the center by starting at the top center and running your finger down the center to the bottom. Then work from the middle out to smooth out any bubbles that may try to form. Take your time and you will get a perfect install! With so many screen protector options out there, it is hard to distinguish between those that promise to shield your phone screen and those that actually protects it. One tactic that is often used to lure users into buying some of these is to say that theirs will shatter before it hits your screen. While they may not be lying about it, the truth is that they will shatter at the least pressure and will make you think that you're lucky that you were using them. That will make you buy more from them when you're just wasting your money. I say that based on my experience when I had three such screen protectors shatter within a month although I treat my phone very well. I would rather pay more for a well known brand that cares about their reputation and will sell a product that will last while protecting. That was the main reason I decided to try this one from Insignia although it is the first time I hear about their making this kind of protector. I know that I will be happy in the future just like I'm happy with it now. No shattering thus far. The second reason I got it was because I was interested in the anti-reflective property which works just as well as I had hoped. It does not come with the common blurry look in this type of protector. It's somewhat noticeable in low light but you get used to it very quickly due to its subtleness in comparison to others. Of course, after just a week I can't honestly swear by it, but it feels solid enough to give me confidence that I won't have to use the other one that came as part of the pack any time soon and I'm so happy that it is a good anti-reflective glass that giving it five stars is fair. Based on my experience with Insignia other products, I'm not worried about any issues.

The Insignia™ - Anti-Reflective Glass Screen Protector for iPhone 16 Pro Max is a solid choice if you are looking for an affordable, yet good anti-reflective screen protector for your iPhone. The kit comes with three screens giving you peace-of-mind if an install doesn't go exactly to plan or if it cracks and you need to replace it. Application is relatively straight forward as you get a wet and dry wipe and stickers to help remove any last particles. The kit comes with a frame that helps ensure the screen goes onto the phone centered. The first attempt left a few bubbles under the screen I struggled to remove so gave the install a second attempt which went well. Be sure to push from the center to the edges to get the best bubble removal. The anti-reflectivness of the screen protector is great. Really helps to kill the glare when under bright lights or even in sunshine. Definitely makes the screen more readable without compromising on the touch sensitivity. Overall, a great solution at a great price. No reason to spend $50 on screen protectors that give you one screen.

With my last iPhone, I had intended on getting a screen protector until it was too late. That too late part came when I slid my phone into my front pocket while forgetting that my folding knife with a glass breaker tip was there first. My iPhone screen made contact with the glass breaker and became scratched on the lower display. When I got my iPhone 16 Pro Max, I wasn’t going to delay getting a screen protector. I bought some cheap screen protectors from a website and when they arrived, they felt cheap, and applying it was frustrating since it wasn’t exactly centered on the screen. I decided to give the Insignia screen protectors a chance and I love it! They don’t feel like they are going to crack under the slightest strain. And what’s better is that they come with an alignment tool that makes it so that you cannot mess up applying the screen protector! When I applied mine, there were barely any air bubbles, and the ones that were visible COMPLETELY vanished within 12 hours. Don’t “intend” to get a screen protector, just get these now and feel better about preventing unforeseen scratches or worse.

Screen Protectors you have alot of different choices out there and here's my thoughts on the Insignia ones this generation. They come in a convenient 3 pack so if you break one or really botch the installation you are not dead in the water. They feature 3x resistant shatter protection than the average screen protector and also ultra transparent. Installation was simple if you've installed one before, prep work is the key. Making sure to get all the dust off and not touch the sticky side of the glass during installation. I was able to install it on the first go without any issues having reading through the instructions and taking my time to do the install. I will say the Ultra transparent is really noticeable on the screen protector. Compared to the old generic one I took off all the colors on my iphone 16 pro max really seem to pop out at you a bit more. I didn't do a drop test on it for obvious reasons but I don't have any reason to doubt the shatter resistant level claimed by Insignia. These are top quality for the price you get 3 protectors at, can't go wrong with Insignia this generation.

I was very impressed by the thickness and overall quality of this screen protector. Additionally, the instructions were clear and easy to follow. The one major drawback I have is with the size of it. For some reason it's a few millimeters too small. I'm certain I followed the instructions properly and also used the very hand included alignment guide but looking at and holding the phone, it is very clear that there is a sliver of screen on the side that is not covered. I don't think this will impact its effectiveness in any way, especially since I also have my phone covered in an Insignia case. But it is definitely worth mentioning. Overall, despite the size issue, which is why it lost a star, it's honestly a really good screen protector. From the quality of the material, the included (standard) wet and dry wipes, the screen protector guide, the dust remover and everything, I'd still recommend it to others. I am hoping that, because 2 come in a pack, the other one is exactly the right size.

Easy to install and durable. Guided frame makes it easy to install

First off, being called “easy installation” is absolutely wrong. They install tray does nothing to help. I followed the instructions to a T twice, but its too far down on the top of the screen, the tray did not help with the alignment on the sides, and theres tons of air bubbles with no dust underneath. Absolute joke of installation tools. Now i have 1 left and the one that is on is screwed up and im scared to use the 3rd because i would’ve wasted $20 if it doesnt turn out right
