I needed a replacement charging cable for my iPad, but did not want to pay a lot for it. I found this product and looked up the reviews. Very good ratings and just as good as the original cable that came with my iPad. I've been using it for about two months now with no issues at all.

This was bought as a replacement cable for an older iPad. The cable works perfectly and there have been no issues at all.

The cable is of good enough construction that it will last normal wear and tear. It helped me connect an old iPad for charging. Didn't fail at all. Would recommend instead of the other brands if you can't afford an Apple cable.

What is there to say about it? The two requirements are: 1. That the cable works and charges the devices. 2. That you don't pay a fortune for the thing. It works well. It's less expensive than the apple cable, but more expensive than other cables I have used which work just as well. If you are an apple fanboy, you are going to buy their version of the cable regardless of the cost. Then again you probably already bought the latest devices, so you don't need this cable.

The protective covering on my original cable that came with my iPhone 4 finally started to shred at the end that connects to the phone. I purchased the Insignia as a replacement and have not had any issues whatsoever. My original apple cable was shorter than this one so I absolutely appreciate the 4' length on the Insignia. The protective covering also appears a tad thicker than my original cable. No cons to speak of.

I set my curling iron on my charger cord so had to buy a new cord. I was afraid that since my iPhone is so old, 4s, I wouldn't find another charger that would charge as quickly or as well as the original one. My daughter had to buy a new charger for an android and it takes forever to charge her phone. However, this Insignia cord works just as well as the original cord from Apple. Happy with this product.

I like the fact this cable is thicker than the Apple branded product. Time will tell if it twists, frays and comes apart like the Apple products. No matter what, I will use the ballpoint pen spring hack to keep it from doing so quickly, if it has that propensity. I bought a no name brand item that would not charge my phone and took forever to try and charge my iPad! This works in lightning speed!

I love it!!! I am well pleased because, it is the first charger that actually operates correctly with my iPad!!! My iPad is a little older but, l love it because, it operates perfectly and functions in the manner that works for me! Plus, I am one who does not upgrade until a product stops working! #ItWorksLoveIt

This is a replacement for the 30 pin USB cord for my wife's iPad. The original one was getting frayed, and sometimes would not charge the beast. Had to get a new one. This one cost me about twice what I would have expected - and I see you can get cheaper ones - but I did not want the little lady to be disappointed. So . . . worth it, I guess.

I have an iPhone4 and while visiting out of state I needed a charging cable. The first place I checked politely did not laugh at my dinosaur phone but did not have it (one staff person didn't even recognize the connection) and sent me to a used electronics store, which no longer seemed to be in business. Best Buy did have it - the sales associate recognized it immediately and steered me right.

After replacing my cable with the inexpensive options available everywhere— most dying after less than 6 months, I decided to spend a it more than twice what I'd been paying and get this Insignia replacement cable for my older iPad. It's now been just over a year and it's still looking and behaving as good as new, no wonky bits in the coupling and no interruptions in charging. No fragile hairline fissures where the head meets the cable (always a stress point) and as sturdy and rock solid as the day I bought it (I'd have been through at least 2 budget cables in the same time span). It's really true, you get what you pay for; I've already saved money, headaches, and hassles simply by owning this and not having to constantly be replace the budget versions. Insignia has always made rugged, reliable, fairly priced accessories (amidst a sea of budget options) and this cable is a perfect example of that reputation.

Device was what I expected when I used it to charge up an old iPad to retrieve old photos and then transfer it. At first looking at the apple section there was none since it was the newer lightning cables until I saw they ok have them at the phone section.

I was excited to find a 30 pin plug for my iPad. I wasn't even sure they sold it anymore it's so old. I was incredibly grateful that bestbuy still carries this product so I can continue to charge my iPad and never have a dead battery. And now I know where to go when I need another. Works flawlessly.

I got this cable at a mobile Best Buy store in the mall. It was a great decision to go look for it there because they gave me 50% off this cable just because it's for an older ipod model. The cable Works fantastic and I only paid $3 and some change after using my $5 Best Buy Reward certificate. Thank you Best Buy.

I have an older iPad with a 30 pin connector. The original cord got old, frayed, and useless. This cord is an excellent replacement cord that worked at the first try out of the packaging. I have been using it 2 weeks or so without a problem, and I expect no problems due to its sturdiness.

The original charging cable that came with my older iPad 3 finally frayed beyond serviceability. I purchased this one as a replacement for that. It fits and works perfectly for this purpose and as a benefit, it is about 8 inches (approx) longer than the original cable. The extra length is welcome as the original always seemed to be right at it's limit for safely reaching an electrical outlet.
