Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the long battery life and ease of use of this Xbox One battery charging station. Many appreciate its affordable price and compact design, which seamlessly integrates with their console. While some users experienced occasional connection issues with their controllers, the positive feedback on battery life and ease of use outweighs this concern. The charging station's USB port accessibility is also a frequently praised feature.

Very easy to use! Plugs right into the side of your Xbox and still gives you access to the USB port. Battery life is great, one charge will last me several days with maybe 2 hours playing a day. Definitly a great design and a better purchase.

Good purchase on sale. No need for throw away batteries when these packs charge for each gaming session. This charging station plugs into the side of the Xbox, so it doesn't take up a wall outlet. I've heard no complaints from the kids other than we need more of these for every controller.

I purchased this the day I bought my Xbox One S, it said it conveniently attached to the side for quick charging. I didn't know until I got home that the One S moved the USB port from the left side to the front directly under the DVD slot. I was going to return it but saw that 2 rechargeable batteries would cost me the exact same amount as this and it CAME with the charger. You can hook up the charger to the front but it blocks the DVD slot so you're removing it every time you want to switch games. It will work fine hooking it up to a standard USB wall block that comes with your phone but I just bought a USB extension cable and hooked it up to a rear USB port. The batteries last for a very long time and recharge rapidly. If you have the original Xbox One this should be a no-brainer but even with the One S it is a worthwhile purchase. Would be 5 stars if they simply mentioned on the packaging that it won't plug into the side of the One S

It doesn't get better for $14.99, 2 rechargeable batteries that charge fully in about 30 minutes. And it plugs right into the USB port with a pass-through so you don't lose that input.

    Wonderful Batteries For Consistent Gameplay!

These batteries last for days of casual play or maybe an entire weekend with hours each day. Either way, they last long on a good charge, and real easy to swap out since you can leave them unhinged in the charging station, if you don't want it laying around that is. Otherwise, I have purchased two of these items because it's always nice to have extra batteries around in case you forget them. Also, I like to think it's a bit convenient for my setup when swapping batteries since I don't like to use different batteries that require a different battery lid, which allows for charging the controller directly on the station. I don't mind, but I prefer to not do that. Anyway, great product, probably a god idea to purchase a couple of them to start off with!

Never have to search for batteries again. Recharges fairly quick, Charging station attaches easily to one of the xbox USB ports (I sue the front side port), and battery life is as good or better than any others.

Got 2 batteries and a charger for less than one Microsoft battery. Get at least 12 us from a charge (swap them before I get low battery indication) The charger fits nicely on the left side of the counsel and includes a fully functional pass the USB port on the side. Lights next to each battery port are Amber when charging and white when fully charged. Only issue I have is not Insgnia's fault. Due to the design/shape of the battery packs they are easy to insert into the charger multiple ways. On a good note though, they will not get stuck if you put them in incorrectly. My recommendation is that after you put one in correctly you use a paint marker or sticker to give yourself a quick reference for future use. Works as advertised worth the money.

This product is a cheaper alternative to Microsoft-produced battery rechargeable systems and works as intended. I have never used Microsoft rechargeable battery systems and so don't have anything to compare this to, but it works really well. The charger plugs into one of the USB ports on the Xbox One (preferably the one on the side) and can remain plugged in even if batteries aren't charging as it provides a data/power USB port on the charger itself so you don't lose a USB port. It comes with two batteries as well. I recommend it for anyone wanting to save on purchasing disposable batteries.

It takes up relatively no room. It just attaches to the left side of your Xbox by plugging into the USB port. And by the time the battery in your controller dies you'll have a spare ready to go.

    Nifty Xbox One Charger

Neat little charger for the launch Xbox One, it is form fitted to plug into the left side USB port of the original Xbox One, the One S is molded differently so I doubt it will fit as nicely. Even so it can be adapted with a USB extender to charge just about anywhere. We have a Energizer Xbox One charger which requires the battery cover be replaced to use their system, and leaving the controller on a charger. We like this system better because we can just swap the batteries out to keep our favorite controller in action instead of setting it aside to charge. Only giving it four starts because the batteries can be installed wrong if you're not careful and I'm cautiously optimistic about battery life. However it maybe a 5 star product in the end.

...with that in mind this is still a very excellent buy for any Xbox One controller owner. Although I did learn after purchasing that there is specifically a model designed and designated for the Xbox One S variant ,that takes into account its front-facing USB port, I chose to keep this item & with the use of any of innumerable mobile device chargers that I've amassed , & i'm able to Always have at least one of the 2 included battery packs fully charged and at the ready for a quick swap out... Simple design that works & a great value find for any xbox one controller user (xbox one /one s /windows 10 pc)

A charging dock upgrade for the Xbox One

This device is an upgrade for the Xbox One that fits onto the side USB port. It also provides a USB port in return, so you don't have to worry about it hogging an extra USB slot. The charging dock is designed to look similar to the rest of the Xbox One's aesthetics, so it fits in well. What it does is provide 2 rechargeable batteries for your Xbox One controller. Drained batteries are stored in the charging dock which begins the recharging process. Lamps on the side of the dock indicate how charged the batteries are. In addition to charging 2 new batteries, it fits the existing default Xbox One battery as well.

This charger plugs into the side USB port on the Xbox One and replicates the port so the functionality is not lost. Additionally, it comes with 2 batteries that do not hold a charge as long as the official rechargeable batteries, but the charger charges official batteries as well. With the 2 batteries it comes with plus the few official ones I keep on standby, I never have an uncharged controller. Highly recommended product!

Bought these on sale and with a rewards coupon, spent $7. They're convenient in the sense that you can hot swap a battery and not have to place a controller on a charger or connect a cable, but finding the correct orientation for putting them into the charger base or controller is confusing at first. The batteries don't have a particularly high capacity, but they charge quickly and last at least 8 hours for heavy gaming, about 24 for moderate tv and netflix usage. The best part of this is the charger base and they it's pass-through USB connections.

The insignia charging station for the xbox one comes with 2 batteries. So far the batteries seem to work fine though I've not had them long enough to comment on their longevity. The station plugs to the side USB port of the console very easily. You don't lose the port since you can plug devices to the usb built into the charging station. The only problem I had with the charging station is when removing it. It snaps on really well but there is no button to release it from the console. When you take it off it feels like you will either break the station or scratch your console (or both). However, since there really is no need to remove the station, I've decided to leave it plugged long term.

I like how this just attaches to the side of the Xbox One and doesn't take up too much space. I also like the idea of having rechargeable batteries just for my Xbox controllers. I didn't like putting the battery in the controller and having it difficult to take out though. It may not seem like a big deal but sometimes when putting the battery in, I need to use some force and hope I don't break anything. The big thing that bugs me is the charging light. I appreciate letting me know when the battery is charged but it's like a night light. Before I go to sleep, I make sure to stick a post-it over it so it isn't as bright. Overall, it does the job.

I don't play xbox that often and it was getting annoying that I had to change the batteries so often and I bought this as an alternative. It plugs directly into the USB on your xbox and charges easily. The batteries are easy to pop in and out. The batteries last a pretty long time, but I can't quantify that. The only drawback is that the batteries are as big as they can be. They barely fit into the battery compartment on the controller. This is probably by design to make sure they don't rattle of disconnect, but they are pretty hard to plug into the controller. Other than that they are great and I have already bought 2 more for my nephews.

I love that this little charging station can charge 2 batteries simultaneously and I love that it plugs into the side of the Xbox one console. I'd originally bought it for my brother's new Xbox One S but since the S model doesn't have a side USB port which is kinda annoying but it's ok since I have the standard model so I can just use it. It's also nice that you can also charge other brand battery packs like the Xbox official battery that comes in the Play and Charge Kit. Overall, a nice product that makes life a little easier.
