Many appreciate its affordable price and compact design, which seamlessly integrates with their console. I found myself either running out of battery power quickly with the whole family using the Xbox One or having to run tethered via a charging cable in order to play games. With this little gem I got two extra batteries and allowed me to swap and charge on the fly so I could always have a controller running wirelessly. It connects to the side USB port on your Xbox One allowing you to charge two batteries at time and still gives you an active USB port for any other accessories or another controller charging.

So this comes with two rechargeable batteries that you can charge at the same time, plus it has a USB port so if you had to you can still plug in a cord to charge it while it is in the controller itself. This to me perfectly fits my needs. The battery life seems to be pretty long, and at least when I'm just using it for Hulu or netflix purposes it seems to lasts for weeks. This will in the long run save me money due to not having to buy batteries over and over. I am very pleased with the product for the duration I have used it.

    Could Be Better

This was a 2015 Christmas Gift and have been using this since then. Here is my review of the last 2 months. Charging Station: The location of my Xbox One wouldn't allow me to place the Charging Station properly, so I had to move my Xbox over to the right a bit, which is now closer to my center speaker, but it's still a fantastic concept, compared to my Xbox 360 charging station made by MS that has to be plugged into a wall socket. It's difficult to tell which way the battery goes into the Charging Station. If you put it in the wrong way, it's very hard to get it back out, especially the Extra Battery we bought, it has this extra piece of plastic and copper on the top. My fingers aren't very big, and trying to grab the edges was a bit difficult at times. Battery Life: At least I'm no longer going through AA batteries weekly, but for my family and myself, we use the controllers a lot. I can maybe get almost a week of use in one charge, and that's what it seemed like when we first got it, but lately it's been 3 to maybe 5 days. I'll play for a good 2, 2 1/2 hours of constant gaming a nightly, like BO3 for example. I don't know if the Headphone/Mic adapter is draining the battery more, it possibly could. I've even turned off Vibrate and if we are watching Hulu, Netflix, we'll just Turn Off the controller to try to save the Battery. Seems to charge up fairly quick, since I have a total of three batteries I always have one charging at all times, which is nice. Overall: It saves money, as I mentioned, I was going through AA every week. Some improvement recommendations is they would need to have a better indicator of which way the Battery goes into the Charging Station. Also the Battery life could be a lot better. My friend owns the MS brand and this brand and says the MS lasts longer. But I'm pretty happy with my gift, and would recommend it.

The price on this charging kit was great. Not only did it provide a replacement USB for using the XBOX's, it also came with two batteries to help when you need to switch out quickly. My only issue is that a few times the batteries showed as if they were fully charged. But then putting them in the controller it showed them as only 75% charged. Not a dealbreaker, especially considering the price. It's a good/cheaper alternative to official Microsoft rechargeable batteries.

When I first bought this item I was thinking this is a off brand so it won't work well, boy was I wrong. It comes half charged so you can use one while the other one is charging it looks good because it uses the USB on the side of the Xbox and charges really well. I recommended this product!

This really does deserve 5 stars and my only 2 gripes are that 1) it is too easy to put the batteries in the wrong way and 2) it's sometimes difficult to get the batteries out (even when put in the wrong way). Now that that's out of the way, this is an excellent system and the batteries hold charge much better than anything I've used in the past. It looks fantastic plugged in to the side of the XB1 and looks as if it belongs. Added bonus is that it makes that side USB port useful again and easy to access with the USB port on the charger itself. A great buy!

I was going through batteries like crazy due to the use of a particular headset that is powered through the controller. As a result, I decided to look for a rechargeable solution to this problem since I had good experiences with rechargeable batteries with my Xbox 360 in the past. This product met all of my needs for a very reasonable price and it even came with two rechargeable batteries. So far I haven't had any problems with the batteries and their ability to hold a significant charge.

Works fantastic, fits any battery. Other chargers (Nyko) only fit Nyko batteries. This charger works with Nyko, Insignia, and original Microsoft xbox controller batteries. I actually use it with a short USB extension to give me a little more liberty on where I put it. The batteries work fine too, although haven't paid close attention to how well they last. They are 1200 vs 1400 for original, but I have extra now, so it doesn't really matter anyway! Great price, great product!

I never buy 3rd party accessories for my game systems because they never hold up to the official products however, since Microsoft doesn't sell the battery packs individually I bought this just to get the two extra batteries. I hooked up the whole device and I was blown away at how fast it charges two batteries and how long the batteries last. I recommend this to every xboner!

I really like the simplicity and effectiveness of this charger combo. Also, the fact that it comes with a pair of batteries is great. For a single player, it's nice to have a battery waiting on reserve, so you're always wireless. Furthermore, I like how the charging unit meshes into the look of the Xbox One. It sort of reminds me of the Sega Genesis and all of its attachements, sort of turning the Xbox One into a super console! XD

This charging/battery port is great for any gamer. It's less expensive than going out every few days to buy a new pack of batteries. Instead, just plug this thing in, put the included battery packs into the slots, and wait for the light to change to white. Once it's white, the battery is fully charged and ready to use. And when your battery is almost dead, just pop it out and put it back in the dock. It's simple and a must for any Xbox gamer

The USB power source is really convenient, I have a USB extension cable running from my Xbox One to this unit on a different tier shelf to free up space and look nicer. I recently purchased a pair of different Insignia battery packs that were slightly different shaped and they charge no problem. Batteries hold charge for 6- 8 hours or so of constant use. Takes a couple hours to charge.

I have only been using it for a little bit but I haven't had to recharge the batteries yet. They seemed to have the largest capacity of the rechargable options in the store and charging is convenient as you just plug right into the front of your xbox. I am actually going to buy another set to have as a backup even though they charged really fast upon initial charge. Overall very good, especially for the price.

ok, so i hate being tethered unless i'm in a competition that matters, so a battery pack for the xbox one controller is a must. this unit does this very well. it directly plugs into the USB port on the left side of the xbox one. it has charging ports for the batteries to go directly into and leaves that USB port open by way of a pass thru on the front of the charger. so far the batteries last about what traditional double A disposables last, and if you are a majority solo game player, you will always have a fresh one ready to go since it comes with 2 rechargeable batteries. there are only 2 minor drawbacks. 1) the unit like i said plugs directly into the left side of your xbox one...therefore adding a few inches in width to the whole system...not usually a big deal but if you have minimal space this may be an aesthetic issue. and 2) there are indicator lights for when the rechargeable batteries are charging. when they are done they are bright white LEDS. not that big an issue, i just pop them out but leave them in the bay, it shuts the light off and you always know where they are, and they are ready to go.

Recommended product. Charges battery packs with ease and the compartment is small so that it does not take up the entire side of the xbox with the usb. It does have a usb built into it so it won't use up any usb ports necessarily. Can charge the battery packs as long as the power brick is on and plugged into the console. Has blinking indicators to let you know when it is charging and is fully charged.

I was a little hesitant buying a non Microsoft brand but this thing is $20 comes with 2 additional batteries. It plugs into the side USB port of your XBOX but has another USB port in addition to the charger. Not for sure if it charges the original XBOX batteries. The batteries it comes with last a long time.
