If you're tired of buying batteries every week for your controller, you absolutely must get this. The charger plugs directly into the side of your console (it looks like it's part of your console), plus two rechargeable batteries. The charge last really long too. For the price, you cannot go wrong.

Be advised that it only works with non S model consoles as it mounts directly to the side USB port but aside from that it works well and even provides a USB port in front so you don't lose access to one. Very handy charger. Only down side is having to R and R them out of the controller unlike cradles which charge them in place. So far really happy with them.

I have a couple of different chargers for my Xbox however, I like this one the most. It was very interesting tofu stat this charger plugs directly into the side of the Xbox on the USB port. The batteries fit into the charger with no issues, unlike some of the other chargers. Batteries provide plenty of life fully charged and have not degraded in quality after 3 months.

I would give this 5 stars, but I noticed on the controller the battery cover doesn't seem to close entirely on one edge when the Insignia battery is installed. It's weird as I have no problem with the Microsoft battery and I tried this on several controllers. It doesn't have an effect on performance, just a cosmetic issue. Other than that, this has worked great and outperformed my Microsoft battery.

I was always skeptical of purchasing third party hardware for the Xbox One but this has changed my view. I purchased this for my son so we do not go through AA batteries and have to worry about keeping them on hand. This charger plugs into the side USB port and does not look ugly or add any other distractions to the unit. It is easy to use and keeps the batteries charged and ready when he needs them.

Now I never have to buy batteries again, this accessory is a huge benefit as you can plug it straight into the side of the Xbox for easy charging, comes with 2 batteries, and even has a USB slot if you need to charge something else at the same time. This will also work with power bricks from your cell phone chargers :) Enjoy!

First, the batteries themselves are fine. They provide a good amount of charge before needing a swap. Having 2 batteries in the kit makes it easy to plug-n-play when one dies. That being said... The power source for the charging station is USB-based, similar to phones (and seemingly every electronic device these days), however it only comes with the USB cord, no power adapter. My guess is that you're supposed to plug it into one of the existing USB ports on the Xbox One. Isn't an issue really, unless.... .... you play with multiple controllers. The kit is nice, but it's really best used for just one controller. Since you'd lose the pack altogether if it dies and have to replace it with the one charged battery, it's not a good idea to use if you have more than one person playing consistently. Which means you'd be losing TWO USB ports on the Xbox One if you used more than one controller often (which really makes not having a USB-based power adapter all-the-more inconvenient). Even still, I'm only using this for my kid's Xbox who usually plays solo, so it's not an really an issue in my house (plus, we had an extra USB power adapter laying around, luckily). But I wouldn't use this for the main Xbox since we tend to play more group/family games on that one (no pun intended).

Product itself works fine. Batteries charge and seem to last a reasonable length of time. Definitely cheaper than switching out AA batteries all the time. Biggest and really only issue is that when plugged in and charging the pack covers the disk slot on the Xbox. So if you want to switch disks, you have to remove the charging station and then plug back in.

Easy to use. Good battery life and short charging time.

I love how this mounts and connects to side USB port on the side of the Xbox One and charges when off and on. It would be nicer if it had red and green Led's for charging and charged rather than just a white light. I prefer this way of charging the battery's rather than other after market cradles that don't always work well.

This is a product that all Xbox one users should have. Doesn't cost as much as the Microsoft version and you get more for your money. Comes with to rechargeable batteries and a plug in charger that connects to your xbox's side USB port and has a 3.0 USB pass through port. Highly recommended product for the avid xbox one user.

This station plugs right into the side USB port for an easy recharge position. It even has its own USB port built it should you want to plug in another device in the charge station itself. The lights on the station glow white when the battery is fully charged and the setup provides great usage for marathon gaming.

I purchased this for my son and we are glad that we did. We were using rechargable AA batteries and keeping them fully charged was a hassle, but with this device, the batteries are fresh and ready to go. BONUS: The device itself attaches tot the left side of the Xbox One, and it matches the design of the xbox itself!

My husband & son go through batteries like crazy for their controllers, I have bought 4 different chargers and so far this one is keeping up, they like the ease of inserting the batteries where as others you kept the batteries in the controller and placed it on a charging dock. This one is so much more practical.

Having only one battery and one way to charge it is a nightmare. This thing solves both problems at one cheap price. Also, while I have an Xbox One S, I'm still able to power it by simply using another wall power block to plug it into via USB - this way it's not running through my Xbox One.

I just bought this item yesterday, and it looks like it's going to be perfect! 2 batteries included, both were fully charged in under an hour. The device looks pretty normal plugged in the side on the Xbox and the lights tell you the state of the charge! Assuming these last a while I'll be very happy!

It charges two batteries very quickly, and the batteries seem to hold a charge as well as the Microsoft brand that come with the charge and play. The only downside is that you cannot use the Microsoft batteries with this charger. But the charger comes with two batteries so you don't really need to use the other ones anyway.

This product is great. The charging base plugs right into the left side of the Xbox One. It looks like it's a part of it. It comes with 2 batteries and will also charge the batteries that come with the plug and play kit. No more need for a cord running from my controllers to the Xbox for charging.

These batteries and charging dock is the perfect addition to my xbox one...u get 2 batteries and charging dock for $25....great deal....you pop in the batteries then when it's done doing its job...the light turns green and ur ready to play....they stay charged for a long while....im happy
