This first purchase was defective , the unit appeared to be loosely held together, I assumed it was dropped or handled too roughly... so keep that in mind. Best buy immediately took it back and my second unit is working flawlessly, it was fairly easy to install and once installed its instant on each boot. I love it.

Alternative for basic computers

This little USB dongle is a great alternative for those computers who are missing Bluetooth support. It works right out of the box and has a very slim profile to look discrete.

Great for slightly older laptop without Bluetooth

The very small Insignia Bluetooth 4.0 USB Adapter gave my laptop new life with the latest technology for connection to my smart phone or for using my iHome Bluetooth Mini Speakers for watching movies. It is barely noticed when plugged into my laptop and works like a champ!
