Bought this because I purchased bluetooth headphones and my laptop didn't have it built in. This was plug and play, driver was downloaded automatically and I was up and running in 30 seconds. Sound quality is also great using this and the headphones together.

I purchased this transmitter to replace an older unit built into my PC that always gave me trouble connecting. It was easy to install and connects easily to Bluetooth audio receivers. I first plugged it into the back of the PC and had interruption of the signal. When I plugged it into the USB port on the side of my monitor there is no interruption of the signal and the audio was clean and uninterrupted. So far works well.

My little brother needed this so he could hook up bluetooth headphones to his computer. Found on bb.com, ordered for store pickup, picked up at store in about 20 minutes, happy brother within an hour of us realizing his computer didn't have bluetooth built in.

Worked out well but range could be better. However it does work room to room thru walls. So not bad.

Worked excellent, I was able to plug into my Windows 8 machine and play my Bose speaker outside!

The dongle works well and gives you very good feedback as to when it is actually pushing a singal, I appreciate that feature heavily. That said, finding a driver for the dongle is not the easiest thing in the world and it is not always consistent in the UI after installation as some OS's utilize different tools to work with the bluetooth device.

Got this to go with my daughter's computer to help with her school work and it works pretty well.

Needed Bluetooth adapter to use on an older laptop without Bluetooth built in. Device installed without any issues and showed up in system tray. Headset installed without any problems and worked great. Range not the greatest but when at laptop works good.

Great for easy add on to older machine without Bluetooth.

I'm using this adapter in my older Toshiba notebook to connect to a Bluetooth speaker. The adapter is in the position of having to negotiate between a rather grumpy notebook and the persnickety remote speaker. The notebook keeps un-handshaking with the speaker, and the speaker keeps turning itself off. I tracked the problems down, and it was not the fault of the BT adapter--it's just between a rock and a hard place....

Is a very useful item and by the cost you don't need to pay more for a compute with Bluetooth!

This did work but I decided to change computers to one with blue-tooth after I bought it.
