This is not a plug and play item. There are also no created drivers that support this device. It took 20 minutes of hunting online to find a solution (it was a driver that goes to an entirely different product). It also has very little range compared to other ones I’ve used.

The Insignia bluetooth adapter worked as expected and was fairly priced to it's name brand competitors. Had the product for several months now and has worked flawlessly for connecting wireless mouse, bluetooth headphones and other devices. I recommend this product.

If you need a quick fix for your computer not having Bluetooth, this is a pretty good buy. It's small, uses USB 2.0 so you don't have to use a 3.0 port if you don't have one, and it's very good at what it does - assuming you don't use Bluetooth at range. However, it quickly becomes horrible if you're trying to connect without line of sight to the adapter, and it's also not very strong - I broke one recently because I was pulling off the computer side to add more ram and bumped the adapter a bit too hard. A regular one wouldn't have broken with that force. So in all honesty? This isn't something you should use for long term - it's just a quick fix until you can cough up the cash to get a real Bluetooth card or replace your existing one. But, for a quick fix, it's a pretty good one: the duct tape of the Bluetooth world. And this little adapter has saved many a game night.

I was in between PC builds, and did not have an adapter to mount my old Intel 9260 NGFF card onto my new MB. I used this adapter and it worked well except some latency and glitching with an Xbox One controller on PC. Worked well with music and other perpherals however.

I bought a brand new gaming machine and it did not have bluetooth. This was such an easy fix. I bought this, plugged it in, and now I am good to go. It was very simple to use and now I have bluetooth.

I needed Bluetooth to connect Bose Audio earphones so can practice my instrument and listen to back tracks. I found that I needed this usb in front usb instead of back to keep audio from cutting out. Seems to work fine, though

For anyone trying to use Bluetooth on this make sure. Be careful because you have to install a Bluetooth driver otherwise this won't work. (at least for me) I use this for my apple earbuds and it's really easy to connect. Sometimes my PS4 controller. Overall a decent product.

We needed a bluetooth usb plug in to hook up a set of earphones so that my husband, myself and our 5 yo could play Minecraft Lan games together lol. We have a ton of fun til our son starts dictating every move we make. Its quite funny but the kid does know his way around that game more than most!! lol

Works as expected. Does not include a driver disk. The expectation is windows will auto recognize and install appropriate driver. Windows failed to install the correct driver. Did some searching and found the correct driver from the chipset manufacturer.

Not the cheapest of this sort of adapter, but one compatible with non-windows systems. I bought mine to work with a Linux setup and it works perfectly there, even with bluetooth gaming controllers.

Great if your computer doesn't have bluetooth built in. Automatically prompts to install once plugged in.
