Very low profile, simple plug and play on my Windows 10 PC. Literally plugged it in and Bluetooth was up and running.

Bought this bluetooth adapter so that I could use a wireless xbox controller while gaming on my PC. Set up was as easy as plug-n-play. Got the job done. I have noticed, however, that it periodically drops the connection to the controller and have tested this with other devices such as a bluetooth speaker. Can be mildly annoying while in the middle of games. Considered maybe it's the range of the device however the desktop tower to the controller in my hand is less than 2 feet.

I have a laptop that didn't come with Bluetooth wireless, so I finally broke down and bought this Bluetooth dongle. What can I say?! I plugged it in, the computer searched for drivers, found one, installed by itself, and then was ready to use. No fuss, no muss. I have no idea how running Bluetooth speakers or headphones works with it, as that's not what I use it for, but data/file transfer is a breeze. Highly recommended. Oh, and I am running Windows 7. Hope this helps you to figure out what you need.

After some research on what the best Bluetooth dongle would be, I decided to go in and talk with someone and sure enough the gentleman that helped me was very helpful and knowledgeable. Once I told him what I was doing he immediately took me to what I needed. Got home and super easy set up and works like a charm. Wireless headphones now work excellent with my PC!!!

I have a Bluetooth speaker that I use quite often with my iPhone but could not use it with my laptop of a few years ago. Did some research online and learned of the Bluetooth Adapter. Searched the shelves of "My Best Buy", found what I needed and learned everything I needed to know about how it worked. Didn't have one at the store nearest me but no problem they mapped out a route for me to the nearest store of theirs that had one. Snapped it right into a USB Port and it has worked just fine ever since.

Very easy to install with Windows 7 and works excellent,I would recommend this product to anyone who needs usb Bluetooth.

Had to search web for drivers & get system to recognize it. Once that was accomplished, it has been working like a charm.

Had to find drivers for it, that were not on insignia site. Almost returned it, works great now.

I never involved a Bluetooth device before. Installation and activation was a snap. And product has worked flawlessly.

It seems to work great. I can connect my headphones without any real trouble. I wish it was Bluetooth 5, but that's not really the dongle's fault. The only problem was the driver. It didn't install automatically in Windows 10 like one would expect a basic Bluetooth adapter would. I had to pull up the device ID in control panel and scour Microsoft's driver page for the right one. If you aren't technically skilled, you aren't going to be able to install the driver.

Works well, though installation was not clear from the instructions provided. Pleased with the price to add Bluetooth to my older laptop

I was looking for a way to easily shoot music directly from my Windows computer to my Bose QC35 headphones through iTunes, which is what I use for most of my music. After fiddling with audio settings on the computer, which has nothing to do with this device, the stream has been very good almost all of the time. The only issues are likely due to multiple other devices being in the area, which is pretty rare. Sometimes the device will act up a little bit and cause a temporary freeze of the computer, but just for a minute or two.

If you have a personal computer at home it might be good for you if you don’t have Bluetooth. My wife’s work computer didn’t have Bluetooth so I tried this. Security features and lack of administrative rights to download drivers hindered us from installing. Returned. Customer support seemed helpful from Insignia, but hassle with work IT wasn’t worth it. Probably good if it is your own computer and need Bluetooth capability.

I want to give this product a better rating but if you have and older operating system such as Windows 7, you may find it is more difficult than it needs to be to install and use. Drivers do not come with this item, you will also have to do an extensive search and hopefully find what works. I was able to get it setup and installed and works well but getting there was quite a chore. Not sure about other operating systems, it should work but not sure how easily it will be to get it to that point. I would still recommend it in a pinch especially if nothing else is available for you.

Worked perfectly for my xbox controller, mouse, and keyboard all in one dongle untill my cat spilled Mtn Dew onto my case! Not it won't work! Please update firmware to allow chemical spills (I had to google how to get it to work with windows 10, but it does I swear)

My desktop pc is really old and didn't have bluetooth capability, if you can believe that. The pc still runs though and I bought this adapter to upgrade it's capabilities. Works great with easy setup. Basically just plug it in and it's automatic on a windows pc. No issues on Windows 10 or 11.

Just picked this little thing up today. I just built my own computer, to find out that my motherboard didn't have bluetooth installed on it already. That being said, I picked this up from Best Buy and it worked right away with no issues whatsoever. I was able to sync my xbox controller and start gaming right away! Would definitely recommend!
