I bought this to work with the new xbox one controllers with bluetooth. The computer instantly recognized the controller and paired with it. Unfortunately Steam doesn't recognize the controller without the steam link or unless it is plugged in so boo to steam. There was a slight bit of hassle when I first plugged in the device as it failed to install the drivers. I removed the device and did a quick restart to the computer and everything went smooth after that.

This little adapter works great, especially for the sale price of $5. My HP SPECTRE laptop's built in Bluetooth kept dropping signals. Went and got this and it immediately fixed it. Note: You may have to go and download the Insignia driver, but once you do it is pretty easy to get this up and running. A quick internet search will give you all the details you need.

If you want to make any computer without Bluetooth have Bluetooth this perfect. I use it at work to connect a jbl flip. Works perfectly all day.

Bought this to use with my Bluetooth headphones on my gaming PC. The two work great together. The device installed without any issue and has not lost signal or anything. As soon as I power up my head phones the two pair up right away. The only issue I ran into was with Doom as it tried to send sound to the wrong sounds device, but all I had to do was disable the other device. Other than that works great, would recommend. Currently used on my Win 10 PC.

it works well enough. signal can be spotty depending on the location of your tower and the port its plugged in to, its a real pain to actually get it to work, involving installing an optional update from your windows settings with no prompting to do so, and no form of customer support outside of user run forums, there seems to be a bit of latency issues as well which isnt an issue for anything that recieves info (head phones for example) but is noticeable for things need to transmit (key boards, mouse, controllers) but it works, and when it does it works well.

Not much to say about this little thing. It does the job, is nice and small so it doesn't get in the way. I have been using it for over a year now and it's still working great.

I use it on a desktop without bluetooth. It was plugging in and working smoothly. I connected headphones without problems and a Microsoft arcmouse, which works with brief flashes. I consider a recommended product.

Very easy to setup and use. I had no problem connecting to my Bluetooth headphones. Great bargain.

Easy was to add Bluetooth to a desktop computer. Works well for connectivity and is so small it is not noticed being plugged in.

So far no major issues as far as connectivity or drivers. Just use this to connect my wireless headphones. Range isn't outstanding, but it reaches far enough for my purposes. Besides, it was cheap and the only USB Bluetooth dongle available nearby.

Works great and had a little difficulty setting up but more powerful than mobo bluetooth.

Product works well as a Bluetooth adapter... once you get it installed. The directions indicate this is a plug and play device but that is not the case. Just for anyone having trouble, you need to manually install the drivers through Windows Update and then once that has refreshed, "View Optional Updates". Once this is completed a restart is required and then the device should work. Good luck with your purchase those who are up for a little frustration.

I picked up this bluetooth adapter so I could use a PS4 controller on my desktop. It's small, unobtrusive, and works out of the box on Windows 10.

I was PC builder in 2000s (the bigger the tower the better) to laptop user 2010s. While laptop was still kicking, I started need extra power for videos. I got my new tower (compact), but I quickly realized, "Oh Bluetooth is not a standard on towers." I found this little adapter and all my Bluetooth was back in business. I took 1 star off. To be honest, it may not be fair. The deal is there are times I reboot my PC and it freezes on POST. I remove this Bluetooth adapter and the boot sequence continues. I blame the adapter but it could be the PC. In either case, you've had a heads up if you experience this behavior.

Works as advertised. Easy to set up. Sometimes have to reconnect headphones....not sure it's the unit's fault or not...I switch often between different types of earphones/earbuds.

Easy to install. You forget that is there at all. Good connection to my Bluetooth device i regularly use for my cellphone. For some reason my headphones do not want to connect to my computer if my phone is not present/connected.

An old laptop didn't have Bluetooth capabilities and this did the trick. It is small, affordable and is very easy to set up.

Great adapter for enabling me to use my playstation 4 wireless controller. Connects easily on a pc and very affordable.

If you have a slightly older PC and you don't need to upgrade it - slap in this little number to give you all your Bluetooth goodness without breaking the bank - or scrapping a perfectly good previous generation PC. Works exactly as it should and I have had no problems with connectivity or operation.

It took me a bit of hunting to be able to get the drivers from the web, but once installed, I was able to use the adapter easily to connect my laptop to our robot. If your laptop/pc doesn't have BT, then this is a good solution.
