Exactly what I needed it's small and not to hard to set up. Just go to the website for the drivers there you will see three files for download( one sdk zip, Windows 32, windows 64,) don't worry about the sdk file just download the file for which ever Windows version you have 32bit or 64bit unzip download and double click on setup and just let it install after that restart pc let it finalize the install and you're good to go.

This adapter allows you to connect Bluetooth devices to your computer. It is low-profile and works great. I am sure that there are cheaper options online, but I like buying small items like this in the store so that I can easily return or exchange if I have problems. TIP: If you are using it on a Windows machine, I recommend going into the device manager and disabling the option to allow the computer to put the adapter to sleep. I use the adapter with a Bluetooth mouse and leaving this option enabled often means that my mouse won't wake up the computer. Sometimes I have to reboot my computer to get the Bluetooth mouse to work.

I was very frustrated because for some reason the bluetooth icon on Windows10 disappeared. I tried all the possible ways to try and reinstall drivers, etc and tried talking to Windows Support, but they are horrible. They didn't help me one bit. They kept just linking me to stuff that I had already looked at. Then I found this. At first it did not work. DEAR LORD. Just my luck. BUT BUT BUT, with the help of one of the comments, I finally got it to work. It says it will automatically download, but sometimes it doesn't. So before you return the product, try this, Start > settings > update & security > windows update > view optional updates > driver updates > "Broadcom Corporation driver update for Micro size usb to Bluetooth Dongle" You might have to do it twice, but try. Restart if necessary, but mine worked after I tried the above.

This is a simple and easy to use bluetooth adapter. If your pc or laptop wasn't equiped with bluetooth this is the way to go. Just plug it in and you've got bluetooth.

This adapter is essential if you want to connect your headband to a computer to use MUSE with other applications. One of the few that apparently work right out of the box with it, and that's true in my case. As soon as I disabled the internal Bluetooth on my laptop and installed this adapter my MUSE headband was able to connect without problems. Great price too!

I'd been looking for a simple way to add Bluetooth to my work Win10 PC because I like using my wireless headphones when I'm at my desk. This little adapter worked perfectly, with no fuss. I just plugged it in and the PC instantly recognized it and it was working. Turned on my headphones, connected without a hitch, and away I went. I'd have been happy at twice the price!

Needed a way to set my sons pc up eith bluetooth for his xbox controller and this worked amazing but drivers were stupidly hard to loacte as the insignia site the link they had was invalid

Windows picked this adapter up and worked right away. Mine has a small blue LED to show it is on and working. I use it for Bluetooth speakers and headphones and so far so good! Quick and easy!

Somehow my Bluetooth driver disappeared from my computer. I tried reinstalling the driver to no avail, so I decided to buy this Bluetooth Adapter. It works perfectly! I had no issues installing the device or utilizing it. I've used it so send and receive files and to connect my Bluetooth speakers to my laptop.

Enabled me to use a bluetooth mouse on my desktop (not installed). Works very well. I had difficulty installing it.

I purchased this dongle to connect an XBox One controller to my PC. 99 times out of 100 everything works flawlessly; however, when I first started using it, I tried having the dongle on the back of the PC and the connectivity between the controller & the dongle seemed to drop out intermittently. I moved the dongle closer and it seems to be fine, but anytime I've adjusted my office layout and tried different options for the dongle location I get mixed results. I don't know if I have something interfering with the frequency in here, or if it's just not very powerful for the BT radio. I certainly cannot be more than 2-3 feet from it, it seems. But, since I can't say for sure if it's the fault of the adapter or something else, I won't judge it too harshly. All in all I really like that it's low profile and "just works" with the OS (mostly used it with Windows 10 but I've also ran various flavors of Linux on my PC and every time it worked without a hitch).

Windows 10 I had to do nothing except plug it in. It works perfect for all my backup files needs. No issues preventing me from doing anything wrong. It transfers my files quickly and easy. This may have been slightly higher in price compared to some of the others but have had no issues. Great little adapter.

Needed a Bluetooth adapter in order to use my new wireless earbuds, works great and started working right out of the box. a little pricey for what it does, but it stays nice and discreet on my computer, and gives Bluetooth availability for $20 bucks. Though it does feel a little cheap, works great so far.

This device works fine. I got it to work on a Linux distribution. Just plugged it in to a USB port and LInux installed the driver. I pared it with a bluetooth mouse. With Windows 7 and 10, installation should be a simple. Just plug it in and Windows will install the driver. All you need is a bluetooth compatible mouse or keyboard or speaker, or other bluetooth device.

I bought this for an older laptop that had no bluetooth capability. It is an inexpensive solution, plug in USB and play. It allows me to stream videos and music on the laptop to a TV monitor, while connecting to a quality bluetooth speaker for a low budget, yet home theater experience.

Use this you do not need to install blue tooth for you self build computer. Only bad part is not far enough.

This bluetooth adapter is very small so it doesn't stick out unattractively nor is it easy to hit. There is a blue light that blinks when there is a constant connection with a bluetooth device. Simply product that is literally plug and play for me. I use it to connect my Bose bluetooth headset to my desktop PC.

Gives older PCs bluetooth capability, which is a must in todays wireless world. Caught it on sale for 11.99 and it's normally 19.99.
