The cover is very shiny attracts a bit of oil. Cover can break easily, should be attentative when puting in and romoving batteries. Haven't experienced any ghost touching, plenty responsive for office work and web browsing.

We purchased this Insignia Laser Mouse that looks similar to the Magic Mouse, but cheaper and with a scroll wheel. Connected to the Mac fine and no issues with using it.

The size and low profile is nice. One downside is sharp edges where you grasp the mouse in use. I have also had inconsistent tracking on blue kitchen formica - not glossy.
