I just received this product and did a quick test. The set up was fairly quick and don't notice any delay in sound. I'm transmitting from the TV to a "name brand" headset. The one con so far: The audio cable is way too short (3") so the device was contacting the TV. This caused both the device and TV to short out. The TV started pixelating. Once I replaced that cord with a longer one, it seems to work much better. There is little, if any, perceptible delay. As a Transmitter, I was able to get the unit to pair with my computer was hoping to be able to use it as a wireless transmitter from my guitar but I can't get the device, as a transmitter to have function as a microphone or line input on my phone or computer. Sound and image are absolutely lip-synced. I can't confirm the sometimes bad reviews in this regard. There is also no noise in quiet scenes. The sound is okay. It's enough for me to watch TV with little to no twerks.The thing I really like about it's ability to allow the user to select which codec one wants to use. Many others simply make the choice for you depending on what the receiving equipment is capable of.

Excellent for travel on planes. Easy to set up (recommend reading the instruction manual first, not a big deal). Allows you to connect your AirPods or headphones to the in-flight entertainment system on the plane instead of using the traditional, wired, and cheap headphones provided by the airlines.

This is a saver. So easy to set up and I connection is strong. I paired my Shokz headphones and can hear it perfectly and clear. I can watch tv without making noise for others. I love it. I recommend it. I am going to purchase 3 more.

Insignia bluetooth wireless audio transmitter/receiver, Take a little bit longer than original scheduled. But worthwhile the wait. 1. Connecting : Connect was easy and fast, connect 1st bluetooth earbud I have without any issue, 2nd device connection follow the instruction is also very straight forward. 2. Audio quality : Quality is very good on both bluetooth earbud I have. 3. Charging : 1st charge take a little longer(which is expected since it is brand new right out of manufacture..). Overall I am very happy with the product. Will recommend to anyone who is in the market for similar product.

I bought this unit to replace an aging Sony unit that would no longer charge nor hold a charge. I mainly use it on my motorcycle helmet. Bluetooth helmets are so expensive and I use this to connect to my phone through bluetooth and then transmit via hard wire to headphoen speakers I put in the helmet ear cups. So for well less than $50, I have most of the functions of a bluetooth helmet. The unit does not have a microphone, so I can't take calls when on the bike (but I shouldn't be doing that anyways). However, I can listen to music or podcasts while riding and that's all I really need.

Purchased to use with my home office CD player/radio as a receiver and as a transmitter on my upcoming flights. Works well as a receiver and have not had problems with it dropping. Great product for the price.

This is a fantastic solution for older devices that don’t have Bluetooth built in and the installation of blue tooth is too fiddly. I recently upgraded my iPod video with an sd card drive and have it on hand for going to the slopes, but didn’t want to use a corded headset. This was the solution.

This device goes both ways. You can send bluetooth audio to it and out to a device connected physically to it or, out physically from a device to it and then connect to the device using another bluetooth device, albeit one with a screen to see and connect (like a laptop, phone, tablet,etc)

Looking for a while for something like this, finaly found one. It's working very well for me for the money I paid. Quality is good. I had little difficulty during setup, took me few tries to figure out the way the blinking is working. I paired with my Apple AirPods and Samsung Bud. Both working and it's all good.

It is a great little unit for making any speaker Bluetooth or audio device Bluetooth. I use it on my Logitech speakers in the garage which does not have Bluetooth built-in. It has made working in the garage fun! I highly recommend this little guy, especially since it is currently on sale!

Easy to use in the receiver mode, just plug and play. For transmitter mode, so far not able to make it work, may be is my setup

I purchased this Insignia Bluetooth receiver a few weeks ago. I use it in my car. It was easy to install and connected easily to my phone's Bluetooth. I have had no issues with the unit and I am thinking of buying a second one for my house.

Its handy and lightweight. It pairs with my headphone easily and worked as it promised. Easy to operate and will recommend.

I have a "dumb" TV with no Bluetooth. This adds Bluetooth. It's so small and lightweight, I've found all sorts of uses, like giving a Nintendo 3DS Bluetooth support! It can be charged with either a USB-C cable or, oddly enough, Apple's Lightning cable. It can also receive sound, but I've yet to find a use case for that. All in all, this is so good, I bought two.
