Most straps for the Apple watch are practically silicone based and are quite similar to the originals included when you buy an Apple watch. If not, your options would be leather, nylon and the steel mesh. The Insignia Braided Nylon Band for the Apple watch is more of an exception to the other but rather vanilla designed silicone, leather and braided metal or steel straps found elsewehere. The Insignia braided nylon band is essentially a one piece strap which is made of stretchable material. And though the product descriptions indicates it as made from nylon, for me it seems more like cotton as it is soft. Construction of the Insignia case seems to be well built. The nylon fabric (which again seems more like cotton) seems to be premium grade. The buckle and the metal thingies used to attach to the Apple seem to made with lightweight metal and are painted black. The paint finish seems to be well made but only time will tell if it will last. But so far so good. Only time will tell if it will last. Once worn, there is a good "latch" of the watch to your wrist making it good enough for most activities. Overall, the strap seems to be of good qulaity and comes in several colors. Mine comes in a somewhat olive drab color. And everything said, this seems to be a good watch and is worth recommending to others.

The metal buckle scratches easily, and there’s a bit of wiggle in the connection bits, but its secure and stylish - made well. The black one Shows less wear, but I lean towards the green for the look. So far they are my favorite bands that I’ve tried extensively, though I haven’t purchased any of the highend Apple branded bands. They dry quickly, do not seem to fade and seem to resist getting smelly compared to some other bands I’ve tried. I do have to loosen and tighten through the day, but I think its mostly my wrists that fluctuate sizes as I’ve had that occur with regular watches that have metal bands - that being said, this band is super easy to adjust accordingly. Thats about all i can think to say about this product… all-in-all, its a great alternative as a third-party option.

Both my wife and I are fans of this type of elasticized watch band. If made properly they can be less fussy to put on and take off and they are never going to scratch you or pull out arm hair. My previous band does not match the Insignia’s thicker braiding, softer feel, and the appearance of a higher quality clasp. And this is also a blacker black. It's too early to know if the stretch or flexibility will persist as it is, because right now it is perfect. It’s nice to have another choice and the cost is definitely competitive. I'd like to see Insignia take some chances with a broader range of colors, including mixing it up a bit. I'll be looking for gifts for my wife and others and they want more than attractive, they want to attract attention. If a watch is going to occupy exposed skin it ought to offer more than utility as its purpose. (And, this coming from a guy who bought black!. I know!)

This band is great if the width of your hand is not too different when compared to the width of your wrist. The reason I say this is my wife has very thin wrist so adjusting the band so that she can easily get it over her hand then leaves the band way too loose for her wrist. The band’s loop closure is easy to adjust when the band is off however it is difficult to adjust especially to tighten the band once you have the watch on. For me the band works great because my wrist is larger so I can adjust the band to fit my wrist snuggly and still get it easily over my hand. I like the fact that the band allows some stretch because I was constantly adjusting the original Apple sport band throughout the day as my wrist expanded especially from walking distances. Overall the quality of the band and clasps are solid and I do not worry about the watch coming loose or the band breaking. For me this band is a five star band but for my wife it was a three star band thus I opted to give it four stars.

This is a pretty good band; however, I do have a concern about its longevity. It seems pretty lightweight and not as durable as I had thought it would be. My thought when purchasing was that it was similar to a paracord type material but it is much more lightweight, and it stretches a bit too much. Overall, it's comfortable and looks good but durability is unknown.

I picked up this Insignia braided nylon band for everyday use, and it’s been pretty solid so far. The material is soft and lightweight, and it’s comfortable to wear all day without feeling itchy or tight. It attaches to the watch easily and stays secure during normal activities. The band does have a bit of stretch and it did loosen slightly after a few days of wear. If you prefer a firm, snug fit, you might notice it. The black color looks sleek and works well with both casual and work outfits. Overall, it’s a good, simple band that’s comfortable and does exactly what it’s supposed to. A nice option if you want something lightweight for daily wear without spending a lot.

Pleasantly surprised about the quality and how great it fits. I have smalll wrist and was worried it would be too loose, but it fit just great. Highly recommend.

I loved my Apple Silver Milanese Loop band, but it would loosen frequently. Ideally I wanted to get an Apple Braided Solo Loop, but didn't want to spend $99. Found this at Best Buy and so far am thrilled with my purchase. Regularly 19.99 but I got it on sale for 14.99! What a bargain. Don't know how it will hold up over time, but so far it is very comfortable and maintains it's adjustment without any loosening. Unbelievable value for the price. Highly recommend.

I’ve been using this band for a few weeks now. It really lets you dial in a perfect fit. I couldn’t quite get the default Apple silicone band to fit 100% comfortably… I needed a hole between the holes. I’d say it’s close to the silicone small/medium band for sizing range. Time will tell for durability; I have experienced a tiny bit of stretching. But I’d say it’s just the material wearing in.

I really like the look and feel of this band. It's very comfortable. The only issue I have with it is that it will loosen, and has to be removed to readjust. Usually this only happens once a day though.

Was not happy with the sport band that came with my Apple Watch, it was too hard to fasten. Love this Braided Nylon Band easy to adjust and put on. Much more comfortable and a good price.

It’s comfortable and easy to adjust! Dries well after being in water or sweating. No pinching and dragging or clinging. It can slide a bit when im doing a lot but its easy enough to readjust and doesnt happen all the time. I like wearing it!

This braided nylon band looks good and feels fine on the wrist. It also has quite a bit of elastic stretch to it making it easy to put on. The only thing that can be frustrating is setting the proper size because the clasp often moves the wrong direction while trying to bend the nylon at the correct spot. Overall it is a great band, especially if you get it on sale.
