For the price, this is a very good buy. I have fiddled with various types of covers and cases for my tablets over the years and this one is right up there as far a pure value for the buck is concerned. It is made of silicone and the build quality is quite good. The design is good and it fits both my previous generation Ipad and Ipad Air quite easily. You will need to pull and tug a bit, not much, and it should fit nicely like a glove. Protection is great and this can be used by both adults and kids but with this design and color choice, kids might find it more attractive. Taking the tablet out to clean should be easy and because of the material quality, a slightly wet wipe should not be a problem. The slot for the pencil is fine and the overall weight of the unit is quite light but it might not be the lightest option in the market because of the protection it offers. The stand is easy to get to and is quite sturdy and should withstand the test of time. Quick suggestion: in the next iteration, try to make the stand a little more versatile so that one can keep the Ipad vertically as well. Highly recommended for kids and a great buy for the adults in the family as well.

Stand broke right after the return period was over, in just a little under 3 weeks.

Not the best case, everything sticks to it. Child is easily able to pop it off. Switched back to our original amazon case

It’s an okay case but the handle came off in a week

I got this case for my kids' iPad Air. The iPad is couple of years old and has always been in a case. It used to be mine and I had Apple's magic keyboard case on it but then I upgraded to iPad pro 11" and transferred that case to my Pro leaving the iPad Air without one (11" Pro and 10.9" Air use same case). I decided to give iPad Air to my two kids to use during long road trips or occasionally at home because my daughter loves to do coloring on it but it needed a case. I bought a case off of Amazon and also bought a generic non-Apple pencil for her to do coloring. The case had handle on each side for kids to hold as landscape and had been perfect so far but it lacked a place to store the pencil though when not in use which was a nuisance. When I saw this Insignia Bumper Case with Apple pencil slot, I immediately grabbed it. I really like the spot for the pencil and it's very easy to get the pencil out. It holds it in place securely. This case is super durable. I love that I am able to stand my iPad up and it is very easy to access the power button with the fingerprint reader. It was so difficult to access any of the buttons with the older case. The most annoying thing was getting the charging cable into the charging port. It would take a huge amount of effort to insert the cable because of the handle on the case. You would have to go in at a certain angle while also bending the handle in the opposite direction at the same time to make way for the cable to go in. No way my kids could do it, not even my wife. They would always come to me to put it on charge. And when the cable was fully inserted, it would have to stay at a very small bending radius the entire time it's on charge, again due to the handle, making it prone to breaking. Honestly, I dreaded to put the iPad on charge. So much so, I preferred taking off the case to charge it sometimes. The Insignia case solves this problem as the handle is on the top side (non-charging port side) and the cable goes in & out without any issue just as it would without the case. The stand on the back is a nice touch. It's a two piece structure with a sliding mechanism. Top piece slides up & down while the second piece holds it in place. Honestly, it looks quite fragile. Only time will tell how long it lasts given the clumsy nature of my kids. Other than that, I believe that this case should hold up for a pretty long time as it seems very stable. Blue is my daughter's favorite color and coincidently, this iPad case is only available in blue color (at the time of this writing). It was the cherry on top. I would highly recommend this case, it does exactly what I need it to and is not too expensive.

The Insignia Bumper Case for iPad is a great case for kids and fits a variety of different iPad models. This case can be used on the 10.2" iPad, 10.9" iPad 10th gen, 11" iPad Pro, and 10.9 and 11" iPad Air. It includes an Apple Pencil slot, carrying handle, kick stand, and rotatable camera cover to fit the different size cameras on the different iPad models. I only tested this case with the 10.2" 9th gen iPad, but it works extremely well. I appreciate that it is a one-piece case, as opposed to the multi-piece construction that other kid/tough cases tend to have. The case was easy to put in, but also fits snug and secure. The little camera cover is easy to put into place, and for the 10.2" iPad, it suggests using it. It still left some empty space around the camera lens, since I guess the 10.2" Ipad model camera lens is one of the smallest of the supported models of this case. But it still provides enough protection that I am not worried about it. Overall it seems like the case will provide great protection. It claims protection for up to a 1.4m drop, and while I am not going to test that out, I have no trouble believing that it would do well protecting against that kind of a drop. The case still leaves easy access to the charging port and power button, however, I found that the volume buttons are somewhat difficult to access with the case on. One last thing to note is that the handle has more flex than I would have expected. It's more rubbery and I was expecting something more rigid. Overall I am very satisfied with this case and think it will protect the iPad nice for my child. Easy recommendation for anyone needing an iPad case for kids.

Great accessory for kids! Have 2 boys and they love how not bulky this case is!

I love this case for my son’s IPad! This case helps protect his screen from getting cracked as well. The material is ver nice as well.
