I feel better having the drive in a protective envelope such as this. I would feel better if the case were more rigid, but have no experience of drive failure in either type of case - rigid vs flexible.

It fits perfectly for my WD USB drive including the cable. I sometimes also use it for smartphone and GPS.

standard protection. Would recommend but prefer other colors than black as I can't find it in my briefcase half the time.

Bought to protect a 1TB drive for travel and general usage of drive for later. Simple, has a front pocket for the wire and any extra SD cards.

Liked this product and the price was right! It protects my hard drive & fits perfect in my purse. Inside the case it brings foam like sheet that you would normally throw way but I left it! Extra protection for "little sisters that seem to have bad hand coordination" If you suffer from "bad luck syndrome" you might want to get the hard cover one : )

This was a perfect case to protect my smart phone when I pack it and don't need to have it handy. I like the fact it has some cushion finish for extra protection. It is not intended for the use I found for it, but it is just what I needed.
