    I got the Pokémon Sun/Moon 3DS XL and as pretty as it is, I still wanted some protection from scratches and fingerprints. Picked this bad boy up from Best Buy on sale for a great price. It is a soft plastic, but it is thick and durable. I like the way it feels because it isn't slippery when I'm holding my 3DS.

    I'm happy with this case protector. It does what it's needed too, keeping my game scratch free and protected from drops. I love the way it feels soft and is more like a soft gel protector, than a hard plastic one. My only complaint is that the case feels loose at the edges where your palms rest when playing a game. Not sure if over time the case might start to pull away.

    Prefer the soft covers. Hard ones tend to crack at the top after opening the 3DS a few hundred times.
