This little gadget did the job . I needed a longer cable to reach from my computer to my modem and since I had extra cables that were not quite long enough I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a longer cable so I connected two 6 ft cables which did the job and save me money.

Bought a few of these already for different uses. No need to cut cables or move the router. I mainly was trying to hardwire my PC but my 35ft Ethernet cable was short by about 2 feet and I had a bunch of cables laying around. Great buy!

The in-line coupler worked perfectly for connecting two cables when I needed the extra length to complete the connection. I would recommend this product to anyone wo need to extend a cat-5 line without the expense of buying a long cable.

I needed a little more cable length for my new TV to be able to be connected to my modem/router. This did the job so I didn't need to run a whole new cable through the walls. A bit expensive perhaps for what this is, but it works well and saved me money and time.

I needed to extend my current ethernet cable but I wanted to be cost effective. I found it cheaper to purchase this coupler and connect two cable that I owned rather than purchase another cable. This was cost effective and it works with no noticeable lost in signal.

This coupler works fine. Usually I would just use a longer cable, but this is hooked on the end of one that comes up through an impromptu hole drilled in the floor, and I don't want the cable falling back through it, so it actually serves two purposes.

Positive experience with the Insignia Cat-5/5e RJ-45 In-Line Coupler. I had 2 Ethernet cables and used the coupler to connect and extend the length of my Ethernet connection from the wall jack to my AiO printer. Works great!

Works great when you have two cables that are too short but together would reach. This coupler works perfectly to add an extension to the cable rather than have to purchase a longer one.

Cheap, works well. It's been in the vehicle as an exender for our radio handset and still works.

I like my electronics to be hardwired into the modem as the WiFi gets degraded over a short distance. With this piece of equipmentt I can have more devices running at full speed instead of 1/4. Connect 2 Ethernet wires together. Plug and play!

Perfect or connecting a second short CAT5e cable to an existing run to make up a few additional feet between printer behind my desk in the corner of my office to my computer, and saved having to buy an additional longer cable.

Makes a long ethernet cable out of two shorter ones. True, you can't pull on the loose ends as much as on a single cable, but I don't do that often and this isn't going in an out of the way place. So, works fine.

When your cat cables aren't the length you desire, this product is an excellent solution. Just plug one cat cable into each end of this coupler and it's just like having one extra long cable. I definitely recommend this product.
