Not Sure How Good Product Was

I wanted something that would play music off a flash drive like a car does. Plug in the flash, music plays. Rep assured me this product would do that. However, product only plays flash plugged into a device first, i.e., mp3 player. Returned it to our local Best Buy. Product played the radio and cd's just fine.

This is the best reasonably priced battery operated unit offering such volume. (It does come with an AC adapter cord that can be attached and used). Would have been nice if it could recharge boombox batteries. It will recharge your MP3 player or other unit attached to its USB port, but only when boombox is connected to AC. This boombox's carry weight is not burdensome. The online description of this Insignia boombox, under specifications, list "Yes" for both Remote Control Included and Headphones Included. Neither, however, actually are included. When using its Bluetooth source, you can use your Bluetooth MP3 player or cellphone app player to control volume and change songs, playlists, etc. But, for AM and FM radio and CD you will need to use controls on the boombox.
