I wanted to buy a Bluetooth speaker for a friend as a gift. She did not care about the size. This was not compact, but it was not too large either. So for the price of a simple Bluetooth speaker she got a CD player and radio with digital tuner as well.

For all those non-DJ's out there. Simple easy to use and does exactly what it is built for. Good sound and value for price paid.

Whenever Maine has a snow storm, we loose our power and need a backup information source so we purchased this radio. We've tried it out and it works great - fortunately, we have not had to use it "yet" for power outages!

Vary good value for the price. Sound quite good both for radio & CD. Wanted a unit to play both CD's as well as radio without turning on full audio system.

Volume knob and sound quit working so could not use. This happened the very day that return policy date expired. Really??!! Got it for a Christmas gift and it had to be returned by 1-15-17. However store was already closed since it was on a Sunday when they close early. Husband took it back next day and they refused to refund money cause one day late on return. Only had a return policy for this item that only lasted about 3 weeks. Who does that?? Anyway, my husband was finally given a store credit to use instead of a refund since only 1 day late on return. Guess we should be grateful for that. Evidently there is a reason for such a short return policy cause the product quits working within 3 weeks.

This works fine for what it is and for the inexpensive price. The sound is overall pretty good. One of the main downsides is having to cycle through every input to get to the one that you want.

I have never owned a boombox so I don't know how good a reception it normally gets. The sound is OK but not as clear as other radios I have used. I bought this to have an extra radio in the house. Time will tell as I learn to operate this box.

Bought to use beside the bed at night and also to listen to MP3 player. Works great. The product does NOT have a remote but I don't really care about that.

I think the insignia CD Boom Box though compact in size has a very good sound, nice purchase!!

Bought this boom box for my father as a Christmas gift. No complaints at all! Absolutely works well and the Bluetooth was so simple to pair as well!

this radio cd player is beyond my expectations and was surprised at the sound that the speakers have. love the choices you have for sound also.

Great product! Perfect for my hurricane kit. The salesperson wasn't sure about the kind of radio I needed. I guess these aren't used much anymore. Lol

I love the sound. I only have 2 cons one is the large plug is so heavy it does not fit well on the bathroom wall. The other is that it has to warm up before playing and that too may have something to do with the plug in not fitting snuggly.

Easy to use, not too many buttons for my grandma. The radio comes though great in her apartment and having a digital tuner is an easy adjustment.

So I bought this little Boombox because I needed a CD player for my bathroom and I wanted something small I like to listen to music while I'm in the bath it was a great price and it fit my needs

Just what we needed to listen to our CD's and radio when we are out of our TV viewing area. Portable, bluetooth, and reasonable price.

Volume is adequate for small rooms and for low noise outdoor settings in which all people are sitting within about 8 to10 feet of this "boom" box. This is the best reasonably priced battery operated unit offering such volume. (It does come with an AC adapter cord that can be attached and used). Would have been nice if it could recharge boombox batteries. It will recharge your MP3 player or other unit attached to its USB port, but only when boombox is connected to AC. This boombox's carry weight is not burdensome. The online description of this Insignia boombox, under specifications, list "Yes" for both Remote Control Included and Headphones Included. Neither, however, actually are included. When using its Bluetooth source, you can use your Bluetooth MP3 player or cellphone app player to control volume and change songs, playlists, etc. But, for AM and FM radio and CD you will need to use controls on the boombox.

Got it for my 70 year old mom. Took her a while to learn how to use it. It suits its purpose. She was glad she could setup her Android to it so she could play her music. Decent price for it.

This CD player has nice sleek lines, easy to understand controls and has a nice solid feel and the sound is great.
