He mentioned that he wished he could play his cd's and cassettes so I searched around and found this - it's just perfect. He has it in his office and is loving being able to play his old tunes again!! It's easy to operate and has good sound. I'd absolutely recommend this.

My grand daughter gave me one for Christmas and I purchased the extended warranty. After only having it for a couple of months the CD player portion stopped working. I took it back to Best Buy with the warranty and got a new one. Hopefully this one will last longer than the first one. It has a great sound.

I basically was looking for something to take down on the beach to listen to and if need be, run off others that might try to beach too close. The radio has great battery life, sound is just okay. Unable to adjust bass or treble, no bass boost and that would probably help. It is only something I will use on vacation so it is okay. Not something I would want for regular use.
