Good reception. Easy for my 5 year old daughter to use. Sound quality could be improved, but light enough to carry or use anywhere!

After looking for something for my husband's small office for playing both radio and cd's, I purchased this Insignia Boombox. It is a perfect size for what he needed and the sound is perfect also. I added a device to allow him to use Bluetooth and play music from his cell phone also. A great success for his listening pleasure.

I purchased the Insignia Boombox as a present to my 84 year old father and he loves it!!! Easy to use and the sound is clear.

We were going to go tent camping July 4th weekend. Our old radio had had its last camping trip last summer. It broke, so I needed to find a new one. Not that many choices these days for a decent portlable radio. This one picked up lots of stations and had excellent sound. Way bey than we could have thought. Nothing fancy but served its purpose for us.

This boombox does not have all the bells and whistles. I has good sound and a cassette player(old school}.

Cassette tape player works very well. Sound is good. All other functions work well. Takes a few minutes to power up when left unplugged. Satisfied

I bought this for my father who has limited eyesight so he could play audio books. It was reasonably priced and has all the needed features but the buttons were not designed for someone with limited eyesight. Basically he has to memorize the location and function of each button. A universal access design would have been better (and still usable for sighted folks) but this was the only model available.

This boombox is easy to use and for the price, has decent sound quality. It was a Christmas present and the recipient is thrilled with it.

This is a nice compact system. Great for older like I (no frills) that still primarily use cds and might have a cassette laying around.

Needed radio, CD and Cassette for my study. This is it! Good sound and easy to operate. Takes up very little space.

Just because it was the only box that had the needed sound units, and it cost so little had nothing to do with why I bought this box. I was painting in a new house and needed some music. If it got painted in the process, no big deal. It makes good sound and is logically easy to use. It is a tuck-away, take with you music box and a smart purchase.

My g-ma asked me to find "something I can play my tapes in, and move from room to room easily". This was the only thing that even remotely met those requirements. It's cheap, it's light-weight, it plays TAPES! Seems pretty well made, been nine months now, still working. If you're an audiophile, you'll be disappointed, the sound is meh, at best. But if all you want is simple, basic, and sound quality isn't a priority, this is good little box!
