Good item for younger people. Pretty good sound easy to transport to beach, parties and friends.

Love this little boo box. Has great sound,doesn’t take up a lot of space and very reasonably priced.

Returned a black Insignia for a more expensive one. Only 2 models were available at the Best Buy we went to. Have an expensive home surround sound system, so my wife wanted a portable system to take outside or move to different rooms in the sound. Better sound quality than the other Insignia we first purchased. Not bad for the price.

I LIKE THE DESIGN AND SOUND QUALITY. SELECTING THE TAPE, CD AND RADIO FUNCTIONS ARE MADE EASY AND OPERATE FLAWLESSLY.

Great features and nice sound. I still own cd’s and cassettes! This plays everything and easy to use. Able to use batteries, so I’m not having to use the extension cord. The memory function to program the stations is the only hassle.

Has a great sound would like to buy another one.The cd plays very clearly if they would come in different colors.

CD player is an upgrade to the one we had. It works well and let's us enjoy music around the house.

Oh moms, what would we do without them? What might my mom do without a boombox? I don't know the answer to either, but I can tell you that this boombox does exceeds mom's needs. It makes sweet music for mom, and plays her CDs, tapes, and radio, via a design that even she knows how to use!

I have received this cd/cassette player for Christmas and what a joy it has been to listen to all my old cassettes and some of my modern day cd's. I am so glad I got this. The sound is beautiful and it is so easy to work.

Worked really well for about 2 months until, unfortunately, it slid off a 2 story roof and turned into several smaller components upon hitting the concrete slab below. (Is that covered? Probably not) Surprisingly the tape that was playing at the time is still in good playable condition. The boombox itself works very well for a smaller unit. It didn't eat any of my tapes, for which I am most grateful, and the sound quality is better than I expected. It doesn't seem to like the combination of a slope, gravity, and sudden impact too much however so keep that in mind. Other than that, I was very happy with the purchase.

This INSIGNIA boom box is great for what I bought it for....I use it for turning cassettes into cds....It has great sound and the CD Player is out of this world....I really like this Brand....so if I by another one it'll be INSIGNIA.

It's hard to find a decent device that plays CD's and cassettes. Have too many old cassettes that I want to listen to occasionally for nostalgia reasons. Had my doubts about the sound quality but was pleasantly surprised it's quite good for the price. If you are looking for such a device, I would recommend this Insignia player.
