great sound for my wife's daycare can play cd's and radio clearly

Size and sound are great. Chose different brand first but returned it in exchange for the Insignia. It was a gift and HE really likes it. Nice to have a radio and good ones are hard to find because most stores don't even carry radios!

Bought this cd/radio/tape player for my grandma. Set up was quick. You can program 10 radio stations, but it's the same button to save a station as it is to toggle between the 10 presets. CD player started once the lid was closed. The radio antenna is the black thin cord so it got decent reception once placed strategically. Not too many CD players to choose from, but this one does the job.

Great for listening to old tapes and cds that are still in your collection, and are able to still play properly. The sound is simple, but loud enough to enjoy for self-listening. My main issue with the box is that I wish they had added a function that would allow recording from tape to either mp3 or cd, Otherwise, i like it, and have no major complaints.

I really needed the cassette tape. All other single cassette tape players were too pricey for my budget. This player was buget friendly. The reason for the 4 star is for sound quality. I have purchased and loved their TVs, so I guessed that the sound would sort have matched. It's great for the purpose intended.

Wanted a simple radio/CD player for my craft room as well as one with portability to use wherever the need arose. This one works well, with great sound, as well. Has every option one could want. Appears well made.

I had to go into Best Buy to purchase a new printer for my office. The salesman was very helpful and knowledgable. As I was checking out I was told I was receiving a $50.00 giftcard. Wow, I get rewarded for shoppping. I had wanted a Boombox to listen to music in the kitchen. I knew where that giftcard was going to be used. I went back in and spoke to another salesman about boom boxes. He helped me pick one out. It was only $59.00. As soon as I got home I plugged it in to see how it sounded. Wonderful!!!! (and it was only $59.00). What a great experience.

This little portable player that also operates from an electric plug has excellent concert-hall sound especially when I play classical CDs and Cassettes. Its convenient size makes it ideal to accompany you outdoors.

I was looking for a radio with a cassette player because I have many old cassettes that I still like to play. For the price this radio cassette player has a really good sound. I am very satisfied and would purchase all over again. I have had a good experience with this brand as I also bought an Insignia stereo receiver a few years ago that still works and sounds great.

Good sound for a small boom box easy to use system, good portable

Great value for a good sounding boombox. Wanted something easy to move around to areas without speakers. Is lightweight, portable and does everything including playing cassettes.

This item was given as a gift, as my friend dislikes all the fancy gadgets that complicate its use. She just wanted a simple, easy to play Boom Box that had excellent sound and is small and compact.

My much more expensive radio died. Bought this one and it even works in a big metal building!!! Others I tried didn't. I can get 98.3 very clear with this radio which I couldn't with even more expensive ones.. Very happy with purchase! Have it on all day every day at work. Employer bought the same one after hearing mine.

I like the ability to play CD’s I have in my library. This was the only CD player I could find. The sound isn’t as good as it should be it sounds tinny. It plays ok but not great.

I bought the a a present for my mom. She wanted a device that could play cassettes, CD's, am/fm, and that's exactly what this does. Now how long it lasts? That remains to be seen. Typically, electronics these days aren't meant to last. But for the price and functions it offers, this was a good choice.

My Dad's girlfriend has been looking for a cassette and CD player now for a few years but not a popular item these days. However she just loves this item so she can take it to the park when she goes to play pickle ball with friends and just for listening to old CD's while doing work around the house.

Sound quality is very good. Buttons are not easy to figure out with out a manual, so keep it handy for yourself or your friends. Multiple options make it easy to bring older favorites but radio backup fills in the missing.
