Some positives first--I had no connection issues with my Xbox One Series X. I liked that it lights up briefly once a key is pressed in case you are in a dark room so you can see the keys. It is a QWERTY keyboard layout for the most part as far as letters go. However, I'm an IT professional and know my home row well so found it disappointing/frustrating to get used to this accessory as designed. This being because of the following aspects: all letters lined up vertically/horizontally, not staggered row-to-row like a true keyboard; in addition, modifier keys (Caps, Shift, Backspace, Enter) were all just squeezed in along the bottom and not in their normal positions, thus it really forces a person to have to look at the keyboard EVERY time they type instead of just relying on already well-established muscle memory skill. Finally, the keys were pretty inconsistent in that often they wouldn't register a key press whereas other times it would double enter a selection or too easily depress an adjacent key so ultimately have to deal with and accept lots of typos when using it. I realize that's kind of the norm today but I'd prefer to have better quality end results.

Good quality, all buttons seem to work, makes typeing on my series x a breeze. Buttons are a little tight but otherwise a good purchase

Great for non-gamers who cannot use the xbox remote to type. I use the xbox platform to stream not game. This little keyboard adapts quickly and allows me to tyoe more efficiently

If you dont want to be going back and forth to type in a letter or number. This is the thing for you!

I dont like using the joystick to enter letters and numbers. Life saver! Much quicker.

Essential for players that want to be more efficient over the on-screen keyboard! I have multiples for other players in my home. Only lack volume controls (up/ down/ mute) for headset users. Purchased at full price and on clearance for $13

This was a great inexpensive keyboard for the XBOX controller. The only downfall is that it tends to detach pretty easily during game play and you have to keep pushing it into the connectors to ensure that it’s connected. You’ll know when the keyboard backlight turns green. Otherwise, great alternative to a name brand option.
