Customers are raving about the Compact Massage Chair's affordability, with many emphasizing that "you can’t beat the price." They also appreciate its compact size, describing it as "a compact massage chair that doesn't take too much space." Comfort is another highlight, with users saying it "fits perfectly" and is "comfortable for daily use." While the massage function receives positive feedback, some customers find the size limiting.

Works great. Wish it would do just one area instead of whole back and butt area. But feels good.

Great if you like hard massages

Overall, this is a great massage chair for the 'average' person. I am 260 lbs and 5'9 with wide shoulders and big thighs, and to me I feel a bit cramped in the leg area. It's like a movie theater chair that can massage your back. When I sit down, I feel stable so that's good. For anyone less than 200 lbs I think this is great. I still use it but I'm not super comfortable. Would be nice if it was bigger. Then again, this massage chair is called compact for a reason.
Despite being compact, the box it came in was really big though. Assembly was easy, basically non-existent. Plug and play. The massaging itself is really nice if you like harder massages. I know that you can adjust your settings, but it still hits hard.
It's very comfortable but it really just feels too small for me personally. Also, it would be nice if it had an extension for your legs, whether it could massage your legs or not. That way it's like a true couch in a way too. It feels like it's missing this ability and would be even better.

Small, compact, odd design

So this chair was definitely smaller than expected. Take note that it is not for larger sized individuals. It has the look and feel of one of those gaming chairs actually. My husband who is larger and wider set than I, he just fits into the chair.
The main complaint I have is the positioning of the massagers --- there's aggressive massaging in the seat of the chair where my rear end goes. This is awkward and I feel the massagers should be moved up as I imagine more people want to be massaged in the shoulders and back, not their butts. I end up having to slouch when I sit in the chair so I can get my shoulders and neck massaged.
It is pretty easy to operate as the controls are really simple and not elaborate like many other massage chairs tend to be. Again, the size is quite smaller than what you may think of with massage chairs --- expect sort of an oversized gaming chair with massaging capabilities. For the price point though, and if you're not wanting to make the huge investment of a standard massage chair, this one is sufficient and does the job.....if you slouch that is.

Mini massage lounger

Nice mini lounger, basic massage roller from buttocks up to lower neck. Also has kneading and gentle pounding for the buttocks area. Overall pretty satisfied for the price very reasonable dont think you could find a massage chair for under $200. The small foot print was also another plus and the faux leather. If you are taller then 5’10 this maybe to small for you and may not reach your upper back and neck. Just hope the quality and durability last longer then 2 years. Made in China. But quite amazing for the price so you get what you pay for.

Excellent option for the price. Not for larger individuals. The chair can be a little noisy with the vibration turned on high but otherwise is very comfortable to relax in. I've tried a chair from Amazon that was near the same cost but wasn't as strong with the massage and I much prefer the Insignia. The chair is also compact and fits well next to my couch in my 750 sq ft unit.

So for a while, we had a couple different tegular chairs that we had in our master bedroom that would regularly just collect clothes, and other items that we didn’t want to put away right away. since bringing home the compact massage chair, it has remained item free other than giving really good massages when we have about 10 minutes to spare. It is very comfortable and almost perfect. I am 6 foot four so it will only reach up to about the middle of the top of my back, so it remains a little less effective. It does go right below the rear end, but stops there so it’s not a full massage like some other chairs. The width of the chair is a little bit tight but definitely manageable. I am satisfied with all the various modes that it has, and can definitely walk away feeling refreshed albeit a little bit sore.

I got this for $200 on the black friday deal. Totally worth it at that price point. I wouldn’t pay full retail for it though. Im 5’10, 220 lbs and the chair is kind of small. It still manages to do a good job on my back though.

I've got back issues and slip a disc every year or so. I thought this would be a minor vibrating chair which is a setting if you like. What a great massage, it's adjustable and feels like someone is really digging in exactly where I need it. The sides of the chair are well formed and I kind of expected them to skimp in that area. I'm 5'9" 205lbs and a little on the muscular side. I loved it so much I bought 2 more for other areas of the house. This chair is not a big chair for a larger person. Read the description.

Grabbed one on sale for $200, very comfortable to sit on, once the mechanisms go to their neutral positions. The massage itself is good, nothing special, but good enough to get my body to relax. As a chair, its comfortable and can easily be used as a place to play games, read, or relax. I would not recommend it as a chair for a PC desk setup, the chair is more angled to be laid back, so it isnt comfortable with a desk.

I'm beyond pleased with this chair. I purchased on a great sale and it does the job. I just wish it had a heating element. Points to mention:
FIRM MASSAGE. This chair gets up in there. If you hate a firm massage, this may not be the chair for you.
SMALL FORM. This chair is pretty compact. I love it because it doesn't take up too much space in my room and if I want to move it, I can do it alone without using a forklift. I'm 6'1 and weigh 200 and I'm a relatively snug fit. If I was much bigger, this chair might be too small for me.

Hi MattieRedgear! Thank you for your detailed feedback on the Insignia™ Compact Massage Chair! We're thrilled to hear that you're pleased with your purchase and found it to be a great value, especially with the sale.
We appreciate your insights on the firm massage and compact size. It's great to know that the chair fits well in your space and is easy to move around. Your note about the snug fit is very helpful for future customers to consider.

Affordable, extremely compact, and a great “starter”massage chair. If you can catch the chair on sale, it’s a no-brainer for the cost, just be aware that it is a compact chair, so as other reviewers have said, watch the height and weight recommendations. Insignia does make full body and full-size massage chairs if you’re looking for a complete experience.

This was absolutely what I was looking for & you can’t beat the price as well as knowing you have BestBuy on your side if anything should ever happen to go wrong or if you simply just had a question. The quality is great, chair was exactly as it had been described. Very happy & if you’re on the fence w what to do just go for it- you won’t be disappointed.

It’s rather small. I’m 5’0 tall and my feet actually touch the ground and the top of my head is at the top of the chair. But it feels great. The rolling balls catch you off guard when it starts to massage your bottom. I need to buy a couple more, lol one for my office.

The chair is fairly small, no surprise there, so if you’re a bigger person like I used to be it may not be the chair for you. The rollers go from the back of the head to just below the posterior. There is no heating element or leg rollers but for the price it’s a good deal.

This Massage Chair is works very good. Not too big, and best for our living room. Looking good and sitting very comfortable. Massage works well on body and good for back pain. Easy to set massage point. Recommended !
