To fix I had to scrape and sand the hole until it was flush. I was disappointed to find that the way this desk is supposed to balance is by drilling through some straps into the wall, how did that idea ever make it out the door?

Good buy except for one screw hole not being perfect, but I got it to fit. The table is sturdy, not that hard to put together and my husband loves it. Good buy I think,
