I have only used it on hard surfaces but it works great for everyday maintenance. I have a cat so and it picks up his hair and any extra litter he tracks around. Would highly recommend for anyone that is looking for something to use in a small apartment or even bedroom/living room everyday maintenance. My only complaint is that you have to empty out the vacuum frequently, but its a minor complaint compared to how great the vacuum his for its price and compared to how much other 2 in 1 vacuums are going for.

This is one of the best, most price-and-function efficient purchases I've ever made. If you're looking for something for quick pick-ups this thing does the job. It's not very powerful so I wouldn't expect it to be a workhorse. It seems to work best with hardwood floors and our thin layered bath and kitchen rugs. The small detaching dust buster is pretty cool and does a good job picking up dust, food, and those things that collect from hard-to-reach corners. I did try and use to the clean up my car and it doesn't perform optimally. The motor is too weak to pick up everything from car's interior but can do a very superficial job. The charging station is neat. Though once used for the day the charging light does seemingly blink all day long. The battery is good enough for quick clean-ups and for full sweeps around our all hardwood floor 900+ sq feet condo. After a few clean-ups about three days to four days in a row the battery started weakening- not too shabby. It's an impressive little vacuum as it seems as if it's not picking anything up with its tiny power but once you peak at the clear compartment, there are all kinds of dust bunnies and gross things spinning around in there! My fiancé was tired of sweeping our all-hardwood place and once I bought this, she can't say enough about how clutch it was for us. Overall, worth the minuscule $30. A simple vaccum for simple cleaning only.

This is a good vacuum if you don’t want something in the way and only have a rug or two. It’s small and easy to store, and can do a good job vacuuming a rug. After that you’re going to have to keep cleaning it out or the suction is basically non existent.

I purchased this for my office because of the very low price compared to other vacs. I was pleasantly surprised as to how well it performed. I used to have an Electrolux at home and this almost performs better. It actually feels more solid than the Electrolux. It was easy to assemble and was up and running in no time. I used it to pickup a bunch of dead leaves from one of my coworkers plants. it performed excellent with no issues. I then removed the hand vac and picked up some detail cleaning in a corner with the attachment. Also performed with no issues. I then put it in the supervisor's office so anyone can grab it when they needed it and so far everyone loves it!

I have a small condo that is all hardwood and ceramic tile, with one area rug in the living room. The vacuum does a good job for hardwood, but struggles with my low-pile rug. The hand vac itself also struggles on the rug, especially without the brushes attached to the stick vacuum. I still think it's a good purchase because it's cordless and because it's great for everyday cleaning, but it's not going to replace a powerhouse vacuum any time soon. It's good for a quick run over the floors during the week, saving the big vacuum for the weekend.

This vacuum cleaner is mainly used by my 5 year old because he wants to clean just like daddy. It's nice that he is actually cleaning up after himself when he spills or makes a mess... The stick vac is lightweight, has never run out of a charge so far, even when not charged between cleanings. It doesn't have a ton of suction, but works in between deeper vacuuming, and the ability to have a handvac separate is fantastic!

Needed a cordless lightweight vacuum for the new hardwood in my kitchen and this one works as expected. I use it several times each day to pick up crumbs. Easy to manipulate around and under bar stools and cabinets. Also great on a few small rugs I have in my kitchen area. Don't know how long the battery last because I use it for such a short time. So far it does what I bought it for!

I recently purchased this vacuum cleaner to perform light duty cleaning jobs on my small apartment. The design is very slick, it's pretty lightweight and it's not too noisy (most blowdryers would probably be noisier than this vacuum). It's also cordless and easy to maneuver. Now the reasons for its return: very low power, it wouldn't pick up most visible particles (at standing up eye level) even after passing by the same spot many times (inspecting the floor closely it was even worse). It had trouble on both hardwood floors and accent rug with very short fibers, both in the "only human" inhabited spaces and the ones shared with pets... On the whole 2 days I owned the vacuum it never finished charging, so I can't speak of its battery duration. Overall it was a huge let down, I really wanted to like it due to its very appealing design, but the performance was a big flop, wasn't even worth to keep as a pretty dust buster...

This little vacuum was just what I was in need of for my studio apartment. It's light, works well on floors and area rugs, and it's cordless. Just be sure to keep it fully charged otherwise it loses power and doesn't pick up as well. As a plus it's available in pink!

It’s light and easy to maneuver around the house. Running time with full charged is enough to vacuum my 3 bedrooms. Decent suction power with rolling brush cleans well. Having separate charger with removable battery is very convenient.

Alright I'm pretty split with this one. It's a decent handheld vacuum and it's great for small messes but for anything else it just doesn't have the suction power. I would recommend this as a trusty second vacuum. One that you use to get the Doritos crumbs off the sofa and surrounding area, any larger job would call for another vacuum. I will say the duality of this unit is pretty nifty. You can use it in handheld mode or snap it into the larger handle for floor mode.

So, it's a small, handy 2 in 1 vacuum that would be the best if it had a better suction, however it doesn't. The handheld device actually does a pretty good job for small messes & areas with carpet, car, rug.

Pardon my pun, but this vacuum is awesome! My apartment is small and is 75% wood floors, 10% tile and 10% carpet, so I don't need much. I saw this vacuum in stores in pink and wanted something a little more general so I ordered the black. It's a handy unit, works well enough for a small space. That's not even including the 2 in 1 feature! I've been trying to find a good car vacuum and now I have that an one for the home. Believe it or not I got a dyson and wasn't impressed. This insignia is honestly perfect.

One vacuum for two size usage. Power for 110 / 220 V. Convenience to use. Good Color and Price. But hope it will be long life.

THIS IS A LIGHTWEIGHT CLEANING TOOL THAT SWEEPS UP CRUMBS IN A HURRY. IT IS RECHARGABLE, AND HAS A REMOVABLE HAND HELD DEVICE FOR CLEANING IN THE CRACKS. I LIKE IT A LOT.

Its cordless feature is the main reason I got it. I don't really need its handheld part. It works well for the carpet. Battery charging time seems too long.

This is not a heavy duty vacuum but excellent for a quick cleanup jobs. The actual vacuum is actually a hand-held that can be detached form the vacuum body and used separately. It is sturdy and well designed. We used Eureka stick vacuum for many years but now they are discontinued and hard to find. This is an excellent replacement, in some aspect even better. The charging cradle is well designed and easy to operate. I can not find any flaws in this vacuum so far.

The vacuum is decent for the price, although it did clog and it is difficult to clear the clog out. I do like the flexibility of taking it portable.
