I did not experience any problems - setting time was easy, setting alarms was easy. Alarm is sufficiently loud. Radio is clear and has good reception.

This is the cheapest alarm clock I have ever witnessed and so quiet its not even annoying. Im afraid it wont really wake me up. This clock should be sold at the dollar store if it isnt already. I sometimes wonder why people are so accepting of really cheap junk and I think it has something to do with how cheap the stuff was they grew up with. I did not expect to buy something this cheap, sold for 20 bucks.

Disappointing clock

It takes batteries, but it doesn’t work unless it is plugged into a wall socket. I was hoping to run it on batteries exclusively so I could put it in a location that does not have a wall outlet. The display is nice and large, however, that is a plus.

Customer satisfaction is our top priority, and I am truly sorry that wasn't demonstrated to you. The Clock radio requires AC power. It has a battery backup to save your settings in case of a power loss, but you can not use the radio or clock without plugging it in.
