The quality of the sound could be a bit richer. The large dimmable 2"H x 6"W display screen is great for seeing the time, radio channel, as well as, a bonus for programming & identifying the screen icons. Large Snooze bar so as not to hit other buttons by mistake. Like the 2nd alarm setting option for one time different wake time. I am happy.

I live just out of town, but It’s only 8 miles, so I would think it should work. I wanted it because it also had battery back-up, which I thought would be nice during storms if I needed to take cover. So I was very disappointed in the sound quality.

Just what you need!

That really helps when you are awakening from your slumber and just want to glance at the clock. Other than that it's functional, works well and is cheap. It's a clock radio for goodness sake. Buy it and sleep well.

It has a great buzzer feature and it starts at a low volume and get progressively louder , I think it's great and plenty loud to wake you up . Never been late with this alarm clock yet and I have had it for a few months . Also it has a large screen so it's really easy to read what time it is half asleep.
