Loss of some hearing at 84 has caused others to complain,"That TV is too loud!" Now I can enjoy the volume right for me while others enjoy the proper volume for them. With the wireless feature I can even listen while I go out of the house to get the mail.

This helps you get more then just the four local channels, plus the extra channels for the local channels as well. It is able to reach out farther way than normal boxes to get a signal for channels you would not normally be able to get receive.

This box has the ability to see program information for current and next programming. My old one had only a limited ability. Our old one died - it was one of the subsidized ones when the switch to digital was first made. I dreaded having to replace it, but the set up was easy - I was watching TV in 5 minutes. Overall I give it a thumbs up!

I have two ancient TVs, bought one for each, use a single coax cable for one and the three prong hook up for the other. No problems with either one.
