If you have to or just want to get your TV by antenna, this item paired with a decent antenna works well. I bought it for my 84 year old dad. He went from 4 channels to 18. It's almost as many as basic cable.

Good picture quality considering this is an analog picture. Converter boxes at other stores are cheaper, but since we are using this on an old TiVo Series 1, it was difficult finding a box with a code our TiVo understood

Best Buy was the only store that had what I needed.

My grandmas old box died and this was its replacement. The previous box was RCA yet this had the same remote as the RCA. This was awesome for her!

This converter was very easy to hook up. It actually picks up more signals than the last converter that I had. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I have a teeny tv sitting on a shelf across my stationary bike so, when I exercise i can watch tv. My old converter "died" so I purchased a new one. So far I have not had any problems.

This product recommended to us by a friend who has more electronic knowledge than us. However, no fault of Best Buy, but it did not work because all the connections were wrong for the converter. Best Buy refunded us without incident.

After I hooked up the box, I started getting 41 channels all with the same clarity as if I were on cable.

Still have 2 large screen analog TVs that I'll use with this converter box and a Lava 8008 antenna to pull in 43 FREE TVs channels. GOOD BYE CABLE TV BILLS! HELLO FREE TV!

I get great signal. Only reason it does not get a five star is because it once in a while (about once a week) loses signal but for only a couple seconds. Other than that, it is a grear product.

Easy to use, no problems figuring out how to operate this device. Picture quality is excellent.

Digital TV Converter Box worked first time plugged up.

Needed a device to pull in local TV stations from an indoor high gain antenna, for use when my satellite TV signal goes down during storms and was purchased when Direct TV lost one particular local TV channel in their negotiations. Satisfied my need quite adequately and at a good price.
