Over all this worked amazing because we cut the cable that we only got 25 channels with and installed this with a air antenna and bam! 23 channels like that and clear even threw bad weather

Got this for my mom, she has an old school tv, the kind that are heavy and have the huge back, thanks to this box she can see basic antenna channels.

It seems fine.. but still not sure if compatible with my TIVO series 2 tuner. thus the only potential drawback. NOT the fault of insignia however either way.

Bought this box for my mom since her old one stopped working. The box seemed to work fine, although a couple of channels were not coming in clearly. This could be to the antenna instead of the box.

Cut the cord...don't wait. Stop throwing money away. If you have an analog TV, you will need this digital converter. Reception is clear and the picture is HD quality and clearer than with cable because it's coming directly from the broadcast company and not through a third party cable provider.

Needed a basic converter and since this is the only one Best Buy sells it is the one I bought. Works fine.

My wife was using a converter box that we purchased 8 years ago. When it stopped working, I purchased this one. Thinking that it should give a little better picture after 8 years.....WRONG!!!! It gave a GREAT picture! For the price this converter is all you will need with a descent HD antenna.

Does a decent job getting channels. Easy to set up.

I had a television that would only get 480p, but to show a full screen, I needed 1080p. With the adapter, I was able to achieve the result I wanted.

It gets a total of eighteen channels so it is about what I expected. The reception is good for those channels.

These may seem more and more uncommon these days but it's a good alternative to a high cable bill.

Converter box was easy to use. It was annoying having to scan channels every time we adjusted antenna though.

Seems to work just fine but I have a low quality antenna providing my signal so picture imperfections are obvious though I assume they aren't the fault of the converter box.
