This product is very easy to use and set up is easy as well

The channel search is good. Very easy to hook up. The channel menu is a little slow and leaves the channel you're until you select another.

Looking for a new converter box for the tv at my cabin up north. I've checked other stores, bought 2 and returned them because the instructions were impossible to understand. The box I purchased at Best Buy was reasonably priced and so very simple to hook up.

The converter box is easy to use and easy to set up.

Haven't had any problems with the converter. Only complaint would be the cable is too short, but I had extra cable lying around.

This one got channel 11 and other channles that the old converter did not. Works well.

This is not a bad box. Seems to do the trick. Still upset we had to buy one due to time warner making us but it is what it is.

This product did the trick. I got more stations than the Digital Tuner in my JVC TV.

Good for area where you can only get TV signal (out in the country where cable not readily available). Will still need to purchase antena and occasionally move it to pick up the TV signal but the picture quality is good.

This converter box is decent. After I purchased it I found another one that was a lot better and easier to hook up at another store for the same price.

Great way to cut the cable when you still have an old analog TV. Pays for itself in one month of no cable. Channel numbers are different but the menu does have station call letters so it is relatively easy to find free TV stations. Remote is a bit cheap so the arrow buttons tend to get caught and stick but other than that very satisfied with purchase.Will need one for each TV but plan to hook up only one to free TV and the other one to DVD. Also need indoor antenna. Bought RCA digital amplified indoor antenna.

This model Insignia Digital Converter Box is adequate for the job but if left on continuously for recording purposes the unit heats up more than I like. The higher price Insignia box can stay on round the clock with no heat at all but it's about half again as expensive.

The converter box I got from Best Buy works fine, except for the inconvenience of the remote control. For instance, when I want to change the channel, the numbers I press do not correlate with the TV. I would sometimes push for channel 9, the remote will send the signal to the TV to input the last channel to be inputted. I can push the number 9 on the remote in five times and and it will still fail to change to channel 9. Other times, I will push for the channel to change, and the converter will shut off. In other words, I would return it or exchange it if I could. I guess one good thing I can say about the box it that it is an easy set-up. Pro: easy set up Con: remote sucks - no recall button crossed signals between remote and box
