No problems hooking up to antenna and TV. Good reception

So far this converter box is doin great for our big screen that isnt a digital tv...

Easy to install and search for channels. Have not been able to find all local ones.

There's not much to say. It's a converter box. Once set up all you do is turn it on or off.

I bought this item as a gift. The recipient has commented how well it works for them.

I bought this in case my power goes out. Works pretty well along with a antenna

After cancelling my satellite it paid for itself after the first month. Works really well especially with an amplified antenna. I do move from room to room since I'm a household of one. The one negative thing I could say is the connector pieces do seem a little loose.

Bought this in he hope it would improve my reception and did not notice an increase from the previous "government" freebie.

This is your very basic DTV converter box. It's simple to setup and easy to use. If you a TV built before 2008, then your TV is unlikely to have a built in DTV converter, but problem can be solved with this device. It would be great if it was HD and not simply SD.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy this for the alternative of Cable expense.

I LIKE THE CONVERTER BOX, IT GIVE ME A VERY CLEAR PICTURE. A GREAT SIGNAL.

Still need a good antenna to work. This is my second converter box and it works ok. Didn't have any issues with it. Easy to install. I like the fact that it automatically searches channels available. However it depends on the quality of the signal the amount of clavailable channels and thus the need of a strong antenna.

It works like it's supposed to work. Nothing flashy. Just what you'd expect.

Had a problem with the initial installation. There was a black box taking up most of the screen, making setup almost impossible. Talked with customer service, and they determined that I had a bad unit. I traded it in, and had the same issue. An internet search showed that turning off 'closed captioning' could help, and that was the solution. Has been fine since.

Now we can get more local channel than the analog signal.

does everything it's supposed to do. the price was the most impressive feature.

3rd one we've purchased for our vacation home since we don't want to pay cable fees for a place we're at only a few weeKS a year. Gets plenty of reception for local stations.
