I've purchased several other converter boxes from different companies which did not last a year. I decided to try the Insignia, and so far it has worked perfectly, and I am pleased. This converter box provides more channel than expected and with great reception.

This product was a replacement for a different brand that stopped working. Hopefully, this one will have a better service record. Very easy to use. Includes signal strength meter.

I needed a Digital box for my old TV. I searched Radio Shack and Walmart. I am glad I bought this one from Best Buy. It is Great for the Price and the reception is very good.

We are among those who do not have cable. This digital to analogue converter box enables us to keep our old TV and access 40 plus stations. The quality has improved over the years and the reception is excellent.

Item was easy to install. Remote volume button randomly changes channels and turns off product. There is no "last channel" button to switch between programs.

Purchased this for my husband so he can watch tv while puttering in the garage. The picture is so clear and crisp on our 20 year old tube TV! Remember to buy a separate antenna and I suggest that you look for a long range antenna or a booster for your antenna. The external antenna that I gave my husband can't pick up the local Fox affiliate that is only a 16 mile drive from our house.

I bought this converter because we don't have cable and we were pleased with our old Insignia converter that we purchased in Best Buy some years ago. Compared to that one, this one does not have the same features. For example, you can not check what the other channels are airing without changing channels, the remote control does not have the Return bottom witch allows you to go back to the previous channel you were watching before, and I could go on and on with that. You would think that after many years they would improve the product but no. The only reason we had to give away our old one was because the remote control was not working anymore and it could not be replaced. So, we have to stick with this one but we are not as pleased as we were before.

Picture quality is good. Some digital converter boxes will let one see what will be on a channel for several sequentiial problems. This one will only show the current hours programming and the next program.

This is a great product for analog large screen project TVs; set up was a snap (although the cables could be a bit longer). Finding and tuning to all of the new HD channels was a snap.

This box was easy to connect and is small in size. I got rid of my cable bill and that makes me so very happy!

Really simple to install. Nice setup with on screen menu that shows what's on currently and what's on later. Easy to use and hook up, very basic anyone can do. I recommend getting a powered antenna and you will have clear HD broadcast TV. Highly recommend.

Set up is easy, but don't overlook all of the options available in "Settings" as you may want to check the last one for optional Daylight Savings Time. If you don't, all of your programming times will be on Standard Time, which is workable but unnecessary. Enjoy this wonderful little box. The catch is the antenna you have or choose. Follow the instructions!

Great working box and very easy to use.i did not have any problem instructing my customers on the way it works

I am hooked to cable, but many of my friends can not afford it. Some still could pick-up as many as 20 channels. They had the older tube type televisions (not flat-screen)and still receiving some great quality reception.This box was the reason ! I recommend and use this "Insigna-Digital Converter Box ".(USE RABBIT-EARS or ANTENNA for best results)

This decoder works great and has a simple interface that's easy to program. We were up and running in a few min with its auto scan mode. Only improvement could be a button for the TV power.

The unit does what it is supposed to do: converts off air signals from antenna from digital to analog for my old TV. Replaces 6 year old original converter. Miss feature on remote that allowed switching between two stations, and miss ability to edit station list. Many TV stations broadcasting off air here are Mexican stations that I would like to skip over when channel "surfing." Basic design, not feature packed.

I think this box works great for a cable free television! We are able to get our local channels as well as out of area channels.

Very easy to setup. Lower priced than bigger name brands.
