Impossible to perfectly fine-tune. I ended up returning both of the ones I bought because, on both of them, the left monitor sat about 0.5" lower than the right, and there isn't an way to adjust up and down. It isn't that big of a difference, so it might not be an issue for you. I just needed something that allowed me to easily fine-tune my setup.
