Stops working after the warranty is up

I called to see if I could do anything to troubleshoot it, but they said they can't do anything since it is outside of the 1year warranty.

Claimed manufacturer warranty through geek squad. Horrible process. Best buy wouldn't pick up the item from home and insisted it had to be brought to the store for repair/replacement.
