Just used this product for the first time, the player is very good but the remote lacks the 2 most imprtant words needed, PLAY & PAUSE.... How nuts is that, have to pull out the book to see what code words are used instead....good buy for the price, arrived quickly.

Very simple and straight to the point. Got it for 50% off as a Student Deal. Plays DVDs fine, is simple to use, very sleek and slim. Only drawback is it lacks HDMI output (reason for 4 star). Would recommend to a friend if HDMI output is not needed.

DVD that is small enough to fit perfectly in our RV. At the very reasonable price we bought two for another tight spot in our home. We do not use a DVD very often but they are great to have in a pinch. The picture quality is just fine.

This was purchased for a spare tv for the kids to watch dvd's. It was on sale dirt cheap, $19.99. Works great and well worth the money. It's not fancy, but I didn't need a streaming player or blu-ray. And it's nice and compact. Good deal.

We borrow DVD's from the library and just needed something to play them on. This little unit does the job! Worked great right out of the box. No drama (except in the movies we are watching), no hassle. Great price. Good value.

We lost our DVD player after a lighting storm and we ventured to Best Buy for a replacement. Since we play very few dvd movies, we did not want to get anything too expensive. This was reasonably priced and we have used it twice so far and it works well. The remote is kind of small and you have to pay attention to the symbols on the remote as they are not marked well with letters. For the price we paid, we are definitely satisfied.

I paired this player with my Insignia 32" smart tv for my bedroom. I do like that I was able to purchase same brands while staying in my budget. Easy hook up(plug and play) and plays clearly. Perfect compact size.

purchased for my elderly father. he needed something simple and easy to use. the price was very reasonable and the player works as hoped without all the bells and whistles. just the basics.

Had a great picture. Connection was very very easy.

I needed a cheap DVD player for my 4 year old daughter as she wore her last one out. This one is small so it doesn't take up a lot of space and works great,,, especially for how cheap it is. And the remote is easy enough for her to work. The only problem is that it will weirdly re-start in the same spot for a movie she watches a lot even though that is not the same spot the movie was stopped in the last time. its easy enough to hit stop and play again to play from the beginning but its just weird.

Have an elderly friend, his main source of entertainment is videos from the library. His DVD player wore out. We bought him this one at Best Buy. Works perfect, and didn't cost too much. He's very happy with it.

Have an older tv and will be upgrading soon. So I was glad to find this DVD player to hold me over till I do that upgrade. The sound is clear, its easy to operate and connect. I'm well satisfied.

Needed an inexpensive DVD player to sit aside a flat screen for a vacation home and got a great bang for the buck with this one. It is small, sleek, easy to connect, and works great!

If you need a good DVD player at a very good price that is going to last you a while I would recommend getting this I bought it and I use it and I love it

I was surprised to find a DVD player still and I haven't needed it much, but it's good! Plays DVDs how it's supposed to, doesn't skip, and was super cheap.

This DVD player is so convenient if you want something small that doesn’t take up too much space. I’ve had it for months already and it has been excellent.

This is a perfect DVD player it is small and fits very nicely on any size shelf. The remote works great and it is so easy to use even my 6 year old grandson could use it.

12/23/2017 Good decent DVD player. Good picture & sound quality. No hdmi input. The thing that I do not like with this DVD player is that when you watch a DVD movie & you stop it, come back a bit later to resume the movie it will automatically go to the very start of the movie. In other words it will not resume to where it left off. I've never known or heard of a DVD player to do this, perhaps it's a manufacturer defect. Or maybe that's the way Insignia manufactured it to work. That's why I gave it a 4 and not a 5. Otherwise, it's a good DVD player, Would recommend. Customer
