Short-term solution, would not recommend long-term

Owned for 11 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've used this chair for almost a year, and can say with confidence that in that timeframe the seat cushion has worn down so much that i can feel the star-shaped piece of metal through the seat. The hip tilt also does not work at all, even with the instructions (ensuring that the bar is on the right side instead of the left). I'm 5'3, 130lbs and only sit in this chair for about 2-3 hours a day- if it was a <$100 chair I could understand the quick wear and tear, but for almost $200 it's absurd for it to go out this fast. The rest of the chair has held up, though, otherwise the review would stay at 1 star. If you need to quickly replace a chair (talking within 14 days, so you can return this to the store when the replacement arrives) it should be fine, but I would not keep for long-term use.

Its more like a midgrade “executive” chair from an office supply store with some extra design features, for the sale price of $99 in today’s economy, value can’t be beat.

I broke my last chair (I tend to sit in awkward positions and it puts strain on the chair) so decided to go for a cheaper alternative. So far this one has been great!
