I am giving it only 4 stars because while it probably works as intended (similar to most Insignia products I have purchased from BB), I can't speak for how long the battery lasts, etc. BB may have given out these "free" items as a way of luring customers to purchase a Switch Lite maybe?

After repair, Nintendo sent me back the repaired switch but with a printed disclaimer that stated to use “only Nintendo approved products with the Nintendo logo.” This does not fit that criteria. I’m unsure if that’s just a “blanket” disclaimer that they send back with every repair, or if they were able to tell through the repair process that we were not abiding by that. In any event, I also bought my daughter one at the same I bought this for my son and she has had zero issues. I tried putting my son’s “problem battery pack” on hers and it doesn’t do a thing…doesn’t charge her switch or accept power to charge the unit. As I write this, I wonder if my son’s unit damaged his switch. No way to tell at this point.
