Works just ones that sell for 50$. Believe me. Unless you spend major $$$, there is no difference. You will get the same channels with this one that you get with other indoor antennas.

The antenna is good for the price, but you do get what you pay for. The signal is no different than old style antennas where you still have to move them around. Still, is nice to have local channels for free.

After ditching our local cable company and opting for one less bill my roommate realized she missed the local happenings and events sooo.....back to Best Buy I went. This little antenna picked up much better than we expected. We thought we would have a picture reminiscent of our early 80s childhoods...wrong!!!!! Some of the local channels were better than our old rotten cable. This product is an excellent companion to our Chromecast!

Oh my, i get so many channels. very easy to set up and a clear picture too. Very inexpensive way to view local TV. I get more channels than i thought i would.

Bought for my grandson. He is able to pull in 26 stations with a decent picture. That was the first one, bought this one for a friend and she is happy with it too. She lives at least 50 miles from any stations.

Bought this to watch the local football games. Worked better than I thought, picked up stations from 30 miles away. Only drawback is the hardwired antenna cable, might need an adapter if you want more than six feet of cable.

I have cable in my house but not in my sewing room. I got this antenna and I am now able to watch over 25 channels and they come in very clear.

If you're looking for basic channels, and a cost-friendly alternative to cable, this is the way to go. I pick up an average of 34 channels. Definitely worth the money.

Was a little hesitant at first because price was only $15 but it works better than a more expensive brand purchased earlier. Would definitely recommend this product!

Great product to access the local channels. I placed this in the spare bedroom and it gets all the local channels.

I am not going to go into a lengthy details on how a analog Antenna works but I must say this, this Antenna works best at night I guess it just gets better reception

Inexpensive, and easy to use antenna which works well. I rarely watch TV so I just could not see the point in a cable subscription, but having access to the local channels occasionally is nice. I picked this up the day before the Super Bowl on a whim, brought it home and set it up in a minute out of the box. Super easy, and super cheap. Works for me!

This antenna is a great alternative for me. The setup is easy and it provides me with a great alternative to cable. Works just as it said it would.

Can't tell if we need something more powerful or if a couple of our local stations are just weak. But overall, very good product, easy to install and the fine tuning knob works well.

We bought this for our weekend place (no cable), and we're getting a bunch of channels and pretty good reception. Next time we're out there I'll try moving it around to see if it gets more stations.

Being a simple item it works. It is better than no antenna at all and a little better than plain rabbit ears. It lists a 40 mile range but I have found that to be very optimistic. It's more like a 25 mile range and will catch the occasional very strong signal from further out. Not much more can be expected at the price. I would recommend it if that's all you can possibly spend but otherwise spend more and get an amplified antenna.

I brought this to be able to get local HD channels. I didn't expect it to work as good as it does. Very simple and easy to set up. Also love the price point.

Easy setup and able to get about 15 channels in a basement bedroom. Picks up all of the local channels, nbc cbs abc and fox

I'm sure your mileage may vary depending on where you are but it works well. Definitely not perfect but you wouldn't expect any antenna to be. If you just want local channels this it for you.
