I know how disheartening it is when a product does not fulfill your expectations. This mount is for most 19-39 inch TVs as the name indicates. Also, the TV on the back has to have VESA standard holes in order to fit, some TVs on the market do NOT use VESA standard for their TV's and require a different mount. This was the wall mount that was given to her. Our mistake but would have been nice to trust the employees at best buy
