Keep in mind that if you want the normal position to be as flat (close to the wall); you will need to mount the base in exact (centered) spot. If you don't mind having it out from the wall, then you do have a little adjustment by pulling the TV away from the wall to center it. Therefore check the locations of the wood studs. If you have 16" studs apart on your wall, you will have a little play to move the base from one side to the other to try to center the base on the wall. I love the feature to pull out the TV from the wall for making connections and adjusting the location of the TV (side to side and angle positions). Our TV was over a bedroom bureau so having the TV out from the wall was fine which we had to do to center the TV.

The mounts had no issues going on the TV. There was no issue with attaching the mount to the wall. I'm happy with the purchase.

Just What I needed

Keep in mind this is a fixed angle . So if you plan on hanging any higher the eye level you will need a mount that tilts down. I installed in bed room just above foot level which is perfect for this mount

When I looked at the instructions it was so easy, I did it all by myself. I paid $200 for mine and the only thing different is that it tilts. Wish I would have known!!
