It is just wide enough to mount onto wall studs that are spaced 24" on center. It comes with all hardware needed to mount to a wall. It also came with two, easy to install brackets that mounted to the back of the tv very easily. I mounted a 43" tv on the wall. Simple, easy to install, and works great!
