Best Buy immediately replaced it with a new tablet, and I have had no problems with it. I really like it, and it is easy to use, even though I am not gadget-literate. The only negative is that the speaker(s) are just awful, but I don't use it for music anyway.

The screen is of such poor quality that by the end of the week it has developed scratches. I noticed the screen on the display was badly scratched but just assumed that was because it was on display and had been mishandled. The attached image is of the display model - which is clearly scratched badly. Expect your tablet to develop similar scratches quickly. Also, in reading reviews noticed that others had commented on the screen developing scratches but stupidly chose to ignore the comments. Was thinking... I'll give it a try and if it begins to show scratches one week after purchase it will be easy to return the tablet and buy something better. Tried to return the tablet today in person to the same store where it was purchased and guess what - they won't take it back because it has scratches! The scratches on mine are much less than on the display model - the photo of which appears with this review.. .p.s. - It also takes a long long time to startup. I have other tablets purchased at comparable price points and they start faster and are wearing better. SAD. Was planning to purchase a Samsung today - but walked out and will buy instead on Amazon. No wonder brick and mortar retail is dying.

The battery life is great, I can go hours before recharging. It's an Android so I didn't have to learn anything different, I have an Android phone. Love it. I highly recommend this product to everyone.
