This is my first tablet I've ever had. So far so good :)

Had an issue with it blacking out but exchanged for a new one.

not much fuction to use,it is too odd style, need to upgrade

It was difficult to turn on and very user UNfriendly.

Great price, good specs over all, but broke within a couple weeks into having it, and it's pretty inconvenient. Won't respond to touch on the screen, and with no real buttons it's hard to even restart or turn it off.

I thought it would be a lot more simple to use this tablet

Got this for my mothers birthday and she loves it.

I purchased this to replace an iPad air that I had prior to this. The iPad was really good quality, but I did have some issues with it. First off the iPad would sometimes drop the wireless signal from my router, and the only way to get it to come back on was to go to settings and cut on and off the wifi. I have never had to do that with the Insignia. Also I couldn't use Swype to type. About a year ago, I purchased my wife a Samsung Tab 4 that was also 10.1". I paid $100 more for the Samsung than the Insignia. I will compare both to the Insignia. Screen size, all three are the same. The Apple has the best resolution, the Insignia and the Samsung are both equal. The resolution is acceptable, especially considering that the Apple is at least $300 more. Speed? All three are equally quick, I've noticed no difference between all of them. Memory? Both the Samsung and the Apple have only 16K and the Apple isn't expandable, here is where the Insignia excels, with 32K and expandable to 64K.. So why not 5 stars for the Insignia? For one thing, the speakers are absolutely horrible with acoustic quality matched only by a tin can. I also don't have much confidence in the chassis of the unit, as I can feel it flex and creak in my paws as I play video games. It feels somewhat delicate compared to the other two, and at this price, I'm positive they aren't using Gorilla Glass. I wouldn't recommend this tablet for little kids as it would likely be broken within a month. Battery life on all three units are well over all you will ever need, usually 8 to 10 hours. With the rate of technology always advancing, this tablet is as good as it gets at the present time. If it last two to three years, then you've scored yourself a winner with this Insignia.
