Personally, good tablet for 80.00 on black Friday. I gave it to my mom to use cause she just surfs facebook and uses it to play app games . Other then that don't expect it to be at the level of other items such as a kindle and ipad. I would recommend an SD disk cause 8gb is rather small and fills up quick. External speakers on the cheap is good to have cause the tablet internal speakers are not loud.

Got this for my teenage son for Christmas. He can now stop bugging me to use mine or laptop. The deciding factor on getting this was definitely the price. And it wasn't one of those no name tablets you see for a deal like this. So far.. so good as I haven't heard any complaints from him about it not working, freezing, or being slow. Overall seems good.

I bought this tablet on Black Friday for my kids and they have had an easy time using the tablet. We downloaded a few kids educational apps they have enjoyed and we like the Google speak app option. Overall, we are happy and would buy another.

I got these tablets for my wife and myself. Neither of us ever used a tablet before, but we figured them out pretty quickly. It doesn't have a rear facing camera so we won't be able to take pictures with them, and some apps are not compatible, but other than that we have had no issues. Battery life seems good so far.

I bought this tablet for my 1 year old niece. When she showed me she could take my phone or my tablet and play games and learning aps without help I decided to buy her one of her own. This isn't a cheap tablet. I got it black Friday for a great price. It feels like it has a better build quality than my Note 10.1. Sturdy case design. Isn't light and plastic feeling. The screen is nice with a good picture quality. Rear facing stereo speakers that are clean sounding with no distortion at full volume, although the volume could be better. The battery life is actually really good. I charged the tablet for the second time since Christmas last night. That's with moderate use watching YouTube videos and playing games. My only complaint is that there aren't any protective cases designed for the tablet. Considering it is a Best Buy Insignia tablet, cases should not be an after thought.

We bought this for our 4 year old as a gift. It has performed wonderfully. We have yet to come across an app that it won't run, and it does everything the expensive tablets do except GPS. (And many expensive tablets don't do GPS either!) To be honest... this tablet is pretty darn close to the same performance as my wife's $600 iPad. The only real drawback for this tablet is the lack of a case dedicated specifically for it. The oddball 8" size means buying a generic 'one size fits many' option. I small price to pay for the joy and learning this tablet has brought our son.

We bought two of these, one for us for when the grandkids come over and one for our oldest grandchild. It is easy to use and all of the grandkids like it for games. I have no complaints about it other than the battery life. I have recommend this to others because of the cost, its compact and easy to use.

I got this tablet for Christmas. I really enjoy using it. I wanted something for reading and this does that. And I can get a lot of the apps that I have on my phone. I can do a lot more on the tablet than I could do on my phone and it is a bigger screen. The screen display is ok and adequate for what I do. I am a little disappointed in the sound,the speaker is not very loud.

Has continued used to work well for my husband's purposes. Device is a little heavy.

I have had this about a month now and use it every day. Have not had any problems with it so far, but I do wish it had a rear facing camera. I am a little disappointed with the speakers but as small as they are, guess you can't expect to much.

Great Black Friday Sale price. Nice size, easy to hold on to. Touch screen responsive. I am using it for my Logitech Harmony Hub/remote a in my media room and is working very well. Great for Sonos as well. Speakers are nice, good sound in stereo. Very happy overall. Will add memory with the SD slot soon. For a simple tablet, it's been very nice and easy to use so far.

Great starter tablet for kids or home use.this device can be used for almost any task. Almost every function works great and proforms great... Good battery life and chargers fairly fast. I recamend it.

I bought two on black Friday as Christmas gifts for my two sons.They are young adults.They don't own a pc , but they have lap tops.I own an iPad and my wife has a kindle fire.We wanted something economical yet dependable.This seems like it will serve that purpose.We did not purchase the extended warranty,so we don't know how that will turn out.

Got these as gifts. Easy to set up and lots of choices for apps. Purchased during Black Friday for Christmas gifts for a 5 and 7 year old. They love them and have a great deal of fun playing the games. Found lots of age appropriate apps for them to use and once loaded they don't have to be connected to the internet to enjoy.

Great for a 10 yr old. We have all played on it and its been great. It was fast and easy to set up. Even my 10 yr old helped. I love the screen size. I just don't like how the camera won't switch around.

Picked this up on Black Friday for $80 and couldn't be happier. This kids love it, it doesn't freeze up and works great. It's not very loud but with headphones it's fine. Well worth the money.

My 4 year old nephew loves his new droid tablet. He had an asus he's dropped numerous times and it was time for a new one. The screen is a little smaller then the previous one but it seems to fit him a little better cause of that fact. The sound quality is pretty poor but i guess that's to be expected.

I liked the size of the tablet & it was a good value for the price I paid, $99 on sale, but the screen is not as sharp and bright as I would like. It would be fine for kids since it is an inexpensive tablet but not for me. I'm returning it.

I received this tablet for a Christmas gift. I got it for the Black Friday price of $79.99. I believe it is on sale for $99.99 now, which is still a great deal. My kids and I have been lucky enough to try out relatives' tablets. Those tablets are an ipad and a Samsung Galaxy. This Insignia performs on par with those other higher priced tablets. We use this tablet for movies, which the microsd slot is great for, and for games. We couldn't be happier. I almost forgot, the only negative for us would be the quiet speakers. We bought our daughters some inexpensive headphones and they are happy watching movies without straining to hear them.
