I bought this for my daughter so she would stop using my iPad. She likes to record herself doing crafts, so having a camera on a tablet this inexpensive is nice. The color seems a little washed out to me, and I've had to use the reset button twice in the first two weeks, but it seems to be a good value for the money so far. If I had paid $200 for this I'd be more upset, but for $80 (Black Friday price) I cannot complain.

I bought two of these, one for my 12 year old son who loves it! He has not had any complaints at all. He thinks it's great and is fast! The other I bought for my 14 year old developmentally delayed daughter. She has a little more difficulty using it for the purposes of communication, however is able to play a few games on it with prompting.

I'm not tech savvy, so I don't know what I'm "missing out on." For what I do know, this is a great tablet to just have and do things on. I mostly use it to play games, go on social media, and use the internet. For these things that I do, it works great. The one thing that would make it better would be to have better sound quality.

I purchased 2 of these for my kids for Christmas. At 8 and 10 they are able to navigate with ease. Great starter tablet!

The tablet was a great price much better than buying a hanheld game. I bought 2 of them for my kids and they love them!

santa got this on black friday online for my daughter for 79.99 free shipping. is a great tablet for a 6 year old. put a block app on it. got a screen protector off amazon. was great for the price i paid.. not worth it at full price but for 99.99 or less cant beat it. my wife wishes i would have got her one also...

I purchased this tablet for my son for Christmas. He wanted an IPad but I will not pay $500 for a tablet for a 7 yr old. He thinks it is an iPad. It is a great tablet. He plays games on it and watches videos. The screen is clear and the volume good. It is very easy to operate. He operates it better than I do.

I like this tablet and am glad I bought it. It's nice not to have to use my laptop for small things like email.

I bought this tablet for my mom and she loves it. I used it a few nights ago and noticed the sound crackles.

I was wondering what i was going to get for the price but so far so good. Kids are loving them. Bought two due to having two kids. Good battery life and multifunctional. They will be able to use for more than games. Not as fast as my Asus tablet, but they don't care and I get my tablet back! Happy mom.

I bought this mainly for the Google Translate app which works surprisingly well. Second reason was to play Youtube videos which work fine as long as you aren't watching hi-resolution videos with Bluetooth turned on -- then it has to re-buffer frequently. Use the built in speakers or wired headphones, and it is fine. This is my first tablet except for a 3rd gen iPod touch so I can't compare it to others, but for less than $100, I am happy.

I got 2 of these for my two kids....ages 9 & 13...so they wouldn't fight over it & both love theirs!

The Insignia Flex 8 is a great tablet to have for a beginner. It's very easy to set up and to navigate. The process did not overwhelm me like I had expected. There are not very many selections for the case since this is an 8-inch tablet; other than that, I am very happy with my purchase!

My son turned 13 this December and he was always getting on my kindle fire so I saw this online as the deal of the day for $99.00 plus a $10.00 gift card it was a last minute gift and we received it 2 days before Christmas. My son has really enjoyed it. Glad I purchased the tablet.

Purchased for the kids, but find myself going to it for quick online access. It's a basic tablet but the performance will surprise you. As others replied, the color and resolution leave something to be desired, just don't put it right next to your iPad and everything will be fine.

Very pleased with the purchase. I have lots of fun using it, particularly playing the games!
